7/5/2025 - This was our first visit to an IHOP in several years. We arrived around 1035 in the morning, and we were seated as soon as we walked in the door even though the restaurant was packed with customers. Our concern upon being seated was the lack of a "Specials" menu, and there wasn't a variety of flavored syrups at the table. Lastly, the surface of the table we were seated at was a little dirty and sticky. After waiting for a few minutes, our waiter arrived. Our first request from him was if we could get our table wiped down because the table top was a little sticky. He left and returned in about a minute and then wiped down our table. At this time, we were ready to place our orders. My wife ordered the 2 x 2 x 2 breakfast (eggs over medium and bacon well done), and I ordered the Colorado omelet breakfast with a side of bacon (pictured). I also ordered a coffee (for myself), and we ordered (2) two waters. After approximately 10 minutes, we received our coffee and waters. Our food was brought to us a few minutes later. My order was perfect. However, there were several issues with the food brought to my wife. One of the pancakes was burnt (she couldn't even cut through it with a knife), and it appeared the cook attempted to hide it under a larger pancake on the plate. The eggs were not cooked over medium (though they were still good), and the bacon was not well done (my wife loves to eat burnt well done bacon). She ended up after showing our waiter the burnt pancake, getting the pancake portion replaced. That batch of pancakes was made right. All in all, for a long awaited return to IHOP, our visit was disappointing. We got seated quickly, and our waiter/server was a bit slow yet friendly and did take care of us. The prices as always were affordable. We found more bad issues than good here at this establishment. I do not think we will return to this particular IHOP anytime soon. Maybe if the standards change for the better, we will...
Read moreI came here with family around 4 - 5am and was really looking forward to this breakfast date with my brothers, as I hadn't seen them in a while. It started out well, a seasoned server took our orders promptly but had to leave because her shift was over. The server taking over didn't seem to want to wait on us. He never introduced himself, so we thought he was only helping to bring out our food. After I asked for his name and if he was our server, we were finally able to ask for utensils. He laughed very oddly at this request, which further solidified that he did not want to wait on us. After bringing items, he spilled a container of hot syrup all down my leg and into my shoes until I alerted him to pull the syrup container away. He apologized and ran away. No help after this, we had to call a manager over. I made manager Quincy aware of the incident, to which he responded, "He's a good boy, and I'm sure he didn't mean to." That seemed odd because I never mentioned the server being rude to us, only that he wasted a lot of hot syrup on my skin. I also alerted Quincy that none of us were able to eat because the cleaning solutions they used to start cleaning the bathrooms (smelled like Fabuloso) when our food came out was making some of us feel nauseous. His response was, "Unfortunately, that's how it goes this time of night." Never mind that we could've been seated at a different table away from the bathrooms, or they could've just simply waited until after we left. After this, manager Quincy offered 20% off my meal and sarcastically asked if I had enough to-go boxes (we did have a few). The boxes were dirty with hair, tiny (did not close) and we had a bunch of orders which we could not finish because of the smells. This was one of the most terrible dining experience of my life AND we were charged for it - food we gave back and couldn't even stomach thanks...
Read moreFirst off I gotta say our server Cory was the best host I've had at a restaurant in a long time. Knew when to check on us but didn't helicopter over us the entire time. Very nice, professional, pleasant and would get my vote for a raise. Makes me wanna come back.
First impression walking in the door, I have never seen a restaurant so over staffed, they look happy, everything looks so clean, I feel comfortable, the lighting is so comfortable, I can see the workers cleaning and having friendly conversations, i love how happy they look i hope they're paid well also.
I ordered the make your pancake combo with New York cheesecake pancakes oh my goodness yes so good and not overwhelmingly sweet. My mother got the Monte Crisco and loved the Logan berry jam so much. Food was great, coffee was great, I could have sat here all day.
Yes there's free WiFi.
The restrooms are clean, would have enjoyed some air fresher in there and I've never been a fan of that old pink soap. I feel bad for the workers who have to use it all day, I hope they have some lotion.
All in all great stop will come again thank you.
Update: I visited again and the server was named Donnie, this guy has the super power of being the best waiter ever. He knew what we needed before we asked, over prepped everything, took my brothers over cooked food and replaced it with no problems at all, kept our drinks full at all times, constantly took the trash from my coffee creamer and even gave us cups when it was time to go. What an inspiration this man is, way to go Donnie.
The Tres Leche pancakes were his recommendation to me and they were so good, so sweet, so awesome is every way. I loved being able to enjoy my last visit to iHop before moving to Australia!
Also thank you for changing the bathroom soap, that is such a little improvement that...
