Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Medford

Paid almost $45 for 1 Western BBQ Burger meal , 1 Starz Chicken Nugget meal, & 1 Chicken Club meal. I was the only customer waiting for my order & when it was ready, the manager handed me the bag very quickly; no eye contact, no thank you, no smile...no common courtesy. After her lack of politeness, my gut told me I should check the order since it was "to go". After taking everything out, found the order of onion rings was missing. Took the bag back to the counter & waited for 5 min for someone to notice me. The manager happened to turn around & I told her the rings were missing. She turned to get them & with her back turned said "sorry Ma'am", but did not sound sincere; handed me the package of rings that had a napkin tucked over it. I thought, ok; doing that to keep them warm, that's great. Took the food out of the bag when home within 8 min. My kids would not eat the French fries they were so bad. When I took the napkin off of the rings, the box was only half full. The Chicken Club bacon was not fully cooked & the lettuce was wilted. Unacceptable service & food!!! Not sure why this location is different than all other Carl’s Jr. locations I’ve been too. Typically they allow you to choose the sandwich of your choice and substitute beyond patties for an up -charge of $2 per patty— very reasonable and something advertised on the Carl jr website. However this Carl’s Jr. refuses to give me my favorite California Classic with patty substitutions, saying their manager doesn’t allow them to do Beyond meat substitutions. So the first time they charged me for a Beyond Famous Star and upcharged me on Cali classic special sauce. Then the second time the worker selected a Big Carl substitution Beyond (so I guess substitutions are only allowed on their most expensive burgers) to create a charge of $12 for a burger with meat substitute! Really frustrating. Not sure why no other Carl’s Jr.’s give me grief but I feel like the manager here has some BEEF with their vegetarian customers and I will no longer come to this location unless it’s a CJ emergency. Otherwise I’ll travel a mile more to the next Carl’s Jr. Vegetarians beware at...

Carl's Jr management does not have a sense of customer service when they make a mistake. Why do you ask for your order and then not read it. When I got back to the store after driving across town the manager said they don't give refunds in the drive through because I could be a fraud. They have to take your picture so you never do this again. She is right, I won't do this again as it was their fault to begin with by making the sandwich wrong. I am glad to hear she thinks by putting a couple cookies in the sack it makes everything better. That's what she told me. If Carl's Jr needs the $6.00 more then offering a refund to cure a customer service problem, they need to hire and train thier managers correctly. We eat at this Carl's Jr several times a week, so they are $6.00 ahead but lost two customers that spend about $55.00 A week there. We will take our business to Arbys, McDonald, or Burger...
