Del Taco — Restaurant in Medford

As a customer, I love the burgers here even though my order has been provided incorrectly before as other reviewers have written: repeated back to me until correct and still received incorrectly. Whatever, mistakes happen. I like the items I order.

As a delivery driver, I do not recommend this location. We received a request for a delivery from this location right around 11pm. We accepted the order and drove from north Medford to pick it up only to find it locked up so tight everything inside was pitch black and the parking lot completely empty. Even the signs and drive thru menu were not illuminated. Thus resulting in us having to cancel yet another delivery order which further results in negative ratings for us, which too many of those due to cancellations results in loss of job. In looking at Del Taco’s posted hours on this google page, they normally close at 11pm on a Tuesday anyway, we arrived around 11:15pm. It’s NYE so hours are probably earlier. 100% on Del Taco for not shutting down their delivery order acceptance through all of the third party apps they partner with. Zero regard for customers or the delivery drivers they work with and beyond...

In the span of a minute, they managed to forget half the order by the time we got to the drive thru window. They quickly got our food to us after we noted the mistake, but the guy at the window was huffy and rude.

Now don't get me wrong, the food TASTES good. But the portions....palm sized crunchy tacos that barely have meat and cheese stuffed in the bottom. The "Epic" burrito was a testament to false advertisement. At Taco Bell, if you pay over 5 dollars for a burrito claiming to be a large burrito, you get a large burrito STUFFED with food. My first, second AND third bite revealed that over half my burrito was merely tortilla wrapped back in on itself, with maybe 40 percent of the burrito containing any of the steak I ordered. I also ordered guacamole for the burrito, and they did manage to put some inside, a thumb sized dollop in the bottom right hand corner.

In short, stay far away from this place. Literally every fast food joint and restaurant I have been to does tacos and burritos better than this overdressed...

Sorry this is so long. When I pulled into the drive thru I asked the attendant for 2 burritos, 6 chicken soft tacos, 1 beef soft taco and mild sauce. The person rudely replied back to me “the people at the window do the sauce packets, not me”. I was baffled at the response so I told them that’s all I wanted. They said something back but I couldn’t hear them and when I asked what they said they basically yelled it back at me. When I got up to the window it was clearly the exact same person I had just talked to and they asked me if I wanted sauce packets!

After that they gave me two big bags of food, so I assumed I received all the food I had asked for. Well when I got home one of the bags had the two burritos and one soft taco. And the other bag was filled with sauce packets and missing the other 6 tacos I had asked for..... needless to say, it was a terrible experience and the food ended up tasting just as bad. I threw the rest of it away and went to Taco Bell...
