Outsider Coffee — Restaurant in Medford

Barf. Went when they just opened and it was disgusting. The coffee was bitter and burnt. Staff made a comment about here's ur cream w a splash of coffee bc i was on keto at the time and made me feel fat af. Gave them another chance after about a year bc a friend said they got better. Started going there every week with my best friend for 4 months bc she liked it, and honestly, they got better. One day, we get our usual Bigfoots and we're walking back to work and we notice a HUGE amount of black dog hair in both our coffees. It wasn't just one hair, they were filled with it to the point neither one of us could believe they didn't catch it. We took them back and they just gave us a free coffee card. I told myself I'm never going back. Well, it's been 9 months and I wanted to give them another chance so I go this morning to use my card, which should be good for any size and any beverage. I ordered a large extra sweet but sugar-free Bigfoot blended. I was told that was a perfect drink to get free. Give them my freebie card and a 3 dollar tip. Get my drink and it's laughable. Small, watered-down little coffee that is most definitely not sugar-free. I know because I'm a diabetic and I can feel the difference. I will never ever be going back. Updates update: We went back and brought my kids and their friend this time. We got 5 drinks- a blended coffee, a blended dirty chai, an iced matcha, and 2 very different lemonades. They were aaallll delicious. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to try again 🩵

Update: The owner was wonderful and handled things right away. I went by and tried drinks again and we both loved our drinks. The flavor combinations available are so fun. Everyone has off days but it was fixed so quickly and professionally. We will be back, thank you so much 🤍

The drinks here sounded amazing and I was excited to try something new. The drink I ordered sounded So good but it was the worst coffee I think I’ve ever had. Sorry to say but I know my coffee very well. I get at least 1 a day at my favorite shop and this is quite disappointing. The name Outsider makes me think its a step above or different, standout, or something cool. Its more like playtime coffee because it tastes more like a kids coffee flavored vanilla smoothie. I can hardly tell theres any in it and actually I think it even seems possible that the standard amount is less coffee than is in mine. 2nd time the same thing has happened. Its melting and I have to go get a coffee somewhere else. Too bad. My standards are high enough that I barely consider the shacks to be good enough to enjoy. Theres not really anywhere I would consider top notch coffee that Ive been that even makes a frozen blended latte so......, judge my review...
