Noho's Hawaiian Cafe — Restaurant in Medford

Saturday April 20th 2024. Around 1:30 P.m.

We love dining in this place food is always great and service is mostly good, however, today our server was very rude, and not helpful at all, we attempted to order a specific drink and she replied "we don't have that right now" with a rude tone, I then asked for a different drink and she replied to this the same exact way so I then asked, okay what do you have.

She then opened the menu quickly and pointed toward the portion of it, were the drinks are and said "we have everything in there but that specific drink". Then when attempting to order food I asked if they had the "Hawaiian BBQ" dish to what she responded. "We don't sell that here" (with a rude tone of voice). I then proceeded to show her the picture that I was looking at (a previous customer's review/photo). And asked to order whatever that dish was.

We are customers and might not always know what you have available or what the dish's name is, provide options, show that you are here to help and serv. As a person that is familiar with customer service this is totally the behavior that you don't want to have.

I understand that some days we all might not be having a good day specially because the restaurant was busy but it's not my fault that you are not having a good day.

Approach each customer with respect and make them feel welcomed otherwise they will lose interest in coming back because of bad treatment like this. Again, we've been here many times and never had received this kind of customer service.

Me and my fiancée were looking for some place to eat and get out of the house for a while. We noticed this restaurant and being as we are going to Hawaii for the first time in Oct of this year we decided to give these guys a try. We waited to be seated for 19 minutes and felt ignored. When we were seated we noticed how sticky the tables were and felt like nothing had been cleaned in a while. We both ordered the Korean Honey Garlic chicken. When our food finally did come out I bit into the chicken slightly burnt which we knew was a trade mark of the Hawaiian type foods but there was no taste to it. It appeared that they just through the chicken on the grill and did not add any ingredients to the chicken. I could have cooked my chicken with flavor and saved myself a huge 30 dollar bill for bland cooked chicken. I told the waiter about this and my fiancée also explained she had to put a side honey on the chicken herself and he just laughed! He tried to tell me that it was cooked the way it should have been but I am not buying into his story as ive had Korean chicken many times in the past and know how it tastes. I explained that to him and he just quickly took our plates as to rush us out of the door so others couldn't hear our concerns. The food is amazing and generous but the service from the woman at the front counter is rude. She constantly repeats that she is all by herself and she excuses her own bad behavior by repeating that. I called in 3 orders for 3 people at our office, on the phone I requested that she bag them separately so I could take each lunch to the correct person, while she agreed to bag them separately she refused to mark what they were or who they were for and told me she was just too busy to mark them in any way and plus she said that she didn't have a marker. Really?? Again, the food is great. She is not. Then, when I arrived there are two lines, one inside and one outside. Don't make the same mistake I did and go to the window that says online order pick up, because ordering by phone is not ordering online. If you order by phone you have to go inside to pay. They won't let you pay on the phone or outside. Lots of people were delayed as I was after standing in the wrong line and then having to go stand in the other line. A bit frustrating. Also, the inside entry way where you have to pay is not big enough for any social distancing. They should only allow 1 party in there at a time, but there were 3 of us until I on my own went back outside to be socially distanced. Their system has room for...
