I’m a huge fan of king wahs I been eating here over 20 years with my family and friends. I love the burger/fries and the mar far chicken/rice combo. It pains me to have to leave a negative review because we were eating here a few times a week. Unfortunately lately when we get the burger/fries the fries are really disgusting and they aren’t like the fries they use to be. Use to be thicker fries, sometimes crinkled sometimes not but both kinds were good compared to what they serve now. They have a weird stale rock hard breaded taste. When the fries are good the food is amazing!!!!!!! However without good fries the burgers just are not as good especially because I put my fries on my burger because king wahs makes the best toasted buns and the fries just are remarkable on the burger. I hate to leave this review but I feel the last 5 times I got food the fries were these battered thin hard as a rock fries that just made me not even wanna finish my food.The workers said it was just a temporary thing and I got a burger the other day and it was amazing again. Had the really good fries but then unfortunately the next day it was back to these thin hard battered gross fries and I just threw the food away. Please go back to what always worked with the fries. Out of 20 years I’ve never had fries that tasted this bad…. Maybe at least let the customers know if the fries have been changed/substituted when ordering so the customer can decide to get something different. We love this restaurant so much…. Again It’s really hard for us to have too leave this negative review and we hope the owner sees this because she is a great owner and her family really works really hard however as the customer we feel the effects of the quality of the food. Been going there 3 years and this last year there has been crappy quality buffet food.
Use to be fresh and always great customer service.
Now you cant get but maybe decent customer service , servers are scared to say anything to the owner because in there own words "shes stricked and not one cook speaks english, but they dont want to repeat complaints or agree with the customer in front of the owner or mention it because they don't wanna lose there job"
My husband and I use to go often as well as order take out. Last night was the last bad experience we are ever willing to put up with from them again.
The owner (shorter Chinese women, usually super) did nothing to make the buffet better after three complaints in less than an hour she had an excuse to " excuse the poor quality" and said if we wanted fresher we need to order off the menu which by the way is a lot more expensive! (I was shocked she spoke to us like that)
We sat for an hour and 15 minutes in hopes that they would switch out the dried pink rice and the lukewarm veggie noodle as well as a few more things and SUPRISE not 1 thing changed and the crab puffs we're still greasy as well as lukewarm. To be honest the whole buffet was like that for a while.
I watch the owner come by and stir the stuff every 10 minutes or so (on a slow night) I even watched one of the waitress take hot sweet and sour sauce and pour it over the sweet and sour pork (thats had sause on it already) to make it look as if it was fresh.
Creep no good buffet. Also dont get delivery because everytime we've spent a pretty penny it seems as if it comes right out of the buffet. Would make sense because they're hardly busy anymore.
My husband and I left with emty bellies and 18.00 out that we didnt even really have.
The bar is ok and has great specials on drinks but as for food you DO NOT get what you pay for anymore!

Read moreMy friends and I come here a lot for karaoke. There's one draw back the bartender Matthew Alan Hale is rude and very disrespectful every time we're there. I've heard this from several other people that frequently go here as well as the employees that work there. I understand theres all walks of life that come through here but this is our favorite place to come sing and drink with friends and when killian worked here it was great and I understand he no longer works here sad to say he's a very terrific Bartender. Cameron the Bartender here serves terrific customer service along with drinks, he really knows his stuff. I really would like to see more employees here like Killian and Cameron to work here that will generate better customer base then losing customers by ignoring them or having attitude with them. My opinion is not to just to fire him but he needs training on his social skills and how he treats people and the people that vouch for him are the one's that bring all there drama that doesn't need to be at a respectable establishment that's just my opinion but please do look into this as this is turning customers away and bringing in the rift raft of destruction in its wake.

We came in on Saturday night on june 22nd at around 12ish for karaoke and Matthew Hale refused service to a group of 5 because we made a review about his poor service. For someone that is Professional is taking it personal and chooses to act childish and not address the problem he has with me but ignore me and my friends because of guilty by association? that makes no sense? and laughs with his buddies because he won't serve us. Well that's okay laugh all you want because the whole valley will know about your unprofessionalism and your history how you treat customers and then some...
