🍗🇺🇸 Hot chicken, golden toast, and hometown gratitude served up in a box. 🇺🇸🍗
Let me tell you right now — Raising Cane’s in Manchester didn’t just feed me… they saluted me.
As a service member, I was rolling through the drive-thru like usual, and the attendant noticed my military license plates. Without hesitation, they thanked me for my service and hooked me up with a military discount — no questions asked, no promo code needed. It was genuine. Unexpected. And greatly appreciated. 🇺🇸
That kind of recognition hits different — especially when paired with crispy tenders and buttery toast that could end global conflict.

🍴 What to Order (a.k.a. The Victory Combo):
🍗 Box Combo – This is the MVP. Chicken tenders that snap when you bite, hot crinkle fries, coleslaw (or double toast, be bold), and the GOAT: Cane’s Sauce. 🥖 Texas Toast – I don’t know who’s back there grilling it, but give them a raise. 🍟 Fries – Lightly seasoned and perfect for double-dipping. 🥤 Half Sweet Tea / Half Lemonade – Because balance. 🥣 Cane’s Sauce – Don’t play yourself. Get two.

🧠 Pro Tips for Fellow Food Warriors:
✅ Ask for the military discount if you serve or have served — they respect it. ✅ Trade your coleslaw for extra toast if you’re living the thick & buttery lifestyle. ✅ Hit that drive-thru mid-afternoon to avoid peak-time chaos. ✅ Tailgate packs = mission-ready for family or squad nights. ✅ Order a side of extra sauce… and maybe name your firstborn after it.
⸻
🏁 Final Verdict:
Raising Cane’s in Manchester doesn’t just get it right with food — they get it right with people. Hot chicken. Cool service. Respect for those who serve. Whether you’re in uniform or just hungry for something elite, this spot delivers every time.
10/10. For the tenders. For the toast. For the respect.

Read moreThis was my first visit to any Raising Cane’s and I obviously cannot compare this to prior experiences.
Service: So first of all the service. The lady who took my order was extremely friendly, and my food came out quick. While I was eating another person, I assume maybe a supervisor (?) came and asked me if everything was OK. Kudos to the employee team.
Atmosphere: Everything was clean, the crew were cleaning as people got up. And I really appreciated that.
What I did not like was the large number of high top tables. It’s not a bar and as someone who is middle aged, I’m not going to aggravate my back to get up on one of these chairs… at least not if there isn’t beer! The low top tables that they do have are relatively large. Like 4+ persons. Very few 2 person tables. So if you are there by yourself like me, I’m sitting at a low top and taking up three other seats because there are so few.
The restaurant is in a large strip mall, but Cane’s actual parking lot is tiny. They took up so much of their available real estate with their drive-through lanes and there are very few spots immediately available. There is parking in the mall’s main lot but you have to walk across a two lane drive through and the mall’s transit lane and there is quite a bit of traffic.
Food: I got the box combo, which is four tenders, fries, Texas toast, and some slaw. The fries were good, nicely salted without being over salted. Crispy and hot. But they’re stingy with the portion. Surprisingly the Texas toast was pretty good. The slaw was just ok and could have used a little bit more seasoning… Maybe caraway or fennel seed to give it just a lil more oomph. I added black pepper to give it some additional flavor.
What should’ve been the star of the show, however, was not, and that would be the Tenders. The tenders were quite oily, and the batter was flaking off as I picked it up instead of sticking to it. The Cane’s sauce…mehhh. Nothing to write home about.
I don’t eat fast food often, but I will give them...
Read moreI went to the drive through last night around 10:30pm. There were only one or two cars in the drive through so I figured the wait wouldn’t be too long. I was wrong. The wait was extremely long! I figured well maybe it’s because they are cooking everybody’s order fresh. I was wrong. When I finally got to the window it was at least a full minute before the last even turned to open the window to take my payment. She was too busy talking and gossiping with her coworkers. FINALLY she turned around and took my payment. I saw AT LEAST three bags of food sitting right there at the window and figured one of those bags had to be my order. After taking my payments, the lady proceeded to go back to talking and gossiping with her coworkers for another few minutes. After close to FIVE minutes she proceeds to grab one of the bags that had been sitting there from the very beginning and hand it to me!!! You mean my order was just sitting there the whole time and you couldn’t hand it to me because you were too busy laughing it up with your coworkers?!?!? Absolute disaster!!!! I never leave bad reviews but something definitely needs to be done about this service. There is absolutely no reason I should have been waiting for almost half an hour in the drive through with only a couple of cars in front of me and the lady at the window was giving such bad service. PAY ATTENTION! When the car gets to the window you need to be taking payments immediately. If the food is ready and sitting at the window there’s no reason it should be sitting there GETTING COLD while you just sit there talking to your...
