Only giving 2 stars because the staff were nice but their fish tanks are a mess. They have what looks like true ich or something like a stress ich in almost all their tanks. They also have dead fish floating in them and fish with torn up fins. There was a dead Angel Fish just floating around in one tank. I thought Petco slacked on fish care but Pet Supplies Plus makes Petco look good! Also their staff are not well educated at all. I asked if a certain fish was available and they had no clue what that fish was...turns out they did have it available because I found it in their tanks. The guy was nice but he had no clue about anything aquatic. They were also trying to sell people some tropical fish that get very large even though they start small in a 2.5 gallon unheated unfiltered tank. I suggest this branch have their employees watch some videos and read up on tropical fish care. They could really make it better by simply balancing their water parameters better, removing any fish that die and putting fish that are stressed and sick from being shipped there in a quarantine tank until they are not ill. I feel really bad for all the fish sold by this place to naïve families who end up giving them inadequate care :/ definitely...

I have been special ordering my cats' and dogs' food from Pet Supplies Plus in Medford for about 2 years now. I have a dog with IBS so consistency is key. Every once in a while Stacey or Jay would forget to order it or it just didn't come in. No big deal, stuff happens, and they always made sure they fixed it right away and apologize. Ever since the new manager started he's been full of excuses "oh it didn't come in"or "sorry I didn't order it". With NO apology, just blows it off. It's been WEEKS and I've been slowly running low. I always order multiple bags so I'm not stranded. I've run out of that supply and I knew I would. I spoke to the manager when I bought the last bag. I told him this will last a week and a half and I MUST have this food. He proceeds to tell me "oh you can just feed the dog the cat food". NO! It's the same ingredients but it's a different formula. He blew me off!!! Yesterday I had to feed my dog the cat food. He had a flare up late last night. It's already making him sick and I still can't get the jerk to do a simple order....

I'd also like to say the rest of the management has been SUPER helpful even contacting another location to check for me AND he put in a special order through them to...

Interesting array of cat food. From raw refrigerated food to well known producers of canned and dry foods. I have been there before, but a neighbour of mine whom I was petsitting for, made me want to revisit when my neighbour gave me a can of Succulent Chicken Tiki Cat. Since there are no real bargains in pet food anymore. G'bye 4/1.00 cans of Friskies and 9 Lives from 90s-early 2000 Petsmart, I can't stock up like I used to. But having a fussy cat living now I need to mix things up. I like the fact I can have Sophie try Wellness wet food in smaller pouches and still give her better nutrition. However, disappointed they don't have trial size raw food for consumers to purchase if they are contemplating integrating raw food into their fur family's routine. It is a shame there aren't more shops closer. Going from East Boston to Medford by MBTA is a hike hence 3 stars. Only upshot is 3 bus routes pass by Fellisway...
