Shishi is a great addition to the restaurant scene in Southern Oregon. The food is fresh and tastes wonderful. I got a sense that nothing is frozen or bottled. The Mar Far chicken is lightly breaded and tender. I don't know how they prepare the pork fried rice but it is the best I have ever tasted. Moist and flavorful. We had cheese cake for dessert and the strawberry sauce was made that day with real fresh strawberries. The person waiting on us was friendly and didn't disappear like in some restaurants and we didn't have long to wait for our food. The owner greeted us and made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Great place for one person or a crowd. I definitely will be back and many times. Update: I went back today for lunch with a large group of 12. Shishi was very accommodating and things went smoothly. Everyone liked what they ordered and I heard many say they would be back. I ordered the string beans and chicken with fried pork rice from the lunch menu. It was the best I've ever had. The food is fresh and the portions are plentiful. Shishi's has become one of my favorite restaurants...
Read moreRogue Valley Chinese at its best. The food was fresh, not pre cooked, and hot. Food was flavorful. Husband had mar far chicken. It was nice and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. As was the fried shrimp. Nice to be able to choose between soup or salad. Egg drop soup was one of the best we’ve eaten. Nice simple salad. crisp salad greens with a tasty Asian dressing. Our server, Lisa, was very attentive and equally personable. She even remembered us and another couple when we went a second time. ShiShi was delightful and introduced herself to us. Also, Lisa made an incredible Lemon drop. Prices were very reasonable. ...

We ordered the family style "A" and it was fantastic. I will be uploading the pictures as well. Today was their first grand opening. They open 11 Am and close at 10 Pm. Honestly I think the hours are great. Most Chinese restaurants in the valley close at 9pm. Which can make it hard to order Chinese if you get off work at 9.
