Service was good. Food was fast. However the eggs came out pre chewed, bacon was murdered under a press and the toast was over done and hard. When asked about the food, I simple said the food was OK but I wasn't happy with the eggs. Server offered to remake which i declined. She insisted so I said sure. At that point a lady came out to ask what was wrong. I explained that the eggs where so broken apart that I cant even get a fork into or under them. Basically needed a spoon. She got rude and said thats how she makes them. I said it's not how they a traditional served. At that point she said I can come back to the kitchen and tell them how to cook. Really!? Found out she is an owner. This might explain why its empty on a Saturday morning..

Upon reading the response from the owner, you can see she handled the situation inappropriately. It was highly unnecessary for her to even come out and speak to me as a server already understood what I was talking about. She approached my table with an attitude which is apparent by the response below. It is confrontational just as she was in the restaurant. I was eating breakfast alone and just enjoying my Saturday morning. I did not ask for my bill to be adjusted, I did not ask for any remake of my food and i did not ask to speak with you or anyone else. Which has me confused on who I was looking to "fight". I tipped the server appropriately for the full bill. I only left this review because of the actions of the owner.I also never...

First I will start by saying the food is always very good. Five stars on the food. Omelettes are great, huevos rancheros awesome, and on and on. Service though, can range from a one to a five star and my last couple visits have me leaning in the lower direction. This is mostly a basic organization thing. It can take a good 20 minutes for someone to take your order sometimes. Sometimes you just can't seem to get another cup of coffee. My last time there I was sat by a waitress....and then stood back up after a couple minutes by another waitress because they did not have any system for tracking the wait. The group of four actually apologized as we were shuffled back to wait. Then I was told that there was yet another party in front of that AFTER another couple minutes. I did receive an apology, but my experience went from a nice Sunday morning breakfast to sheer frustration. So yeah, one to five star on service. The cafe is clean enough, but you could say that they need to invest a bit back in the place. I would say a three or...

The food was good, the prices were higher than the atmosphere commands.

Also some little nuances, when asking for the check you aren't given one, they just have you go to the register and you're kind of left figuring out what you were charged for.

They come around asking if you want a refill on coffee, but having figured out after with tax that I must've been charged for a refill.

Not a huge deal, but the kind that can stay in the back of your head or have you not going back somewhere.

My date wasn't thrilled that when she ordered, the waitress commented "wow someone must be hungry". I didn't notice anything out of normal when she ordered, just that when the waitress came over she ordered first.

She also ordered an ice tea and said "unsweetened please" and was told "well, that's good. because that's all we have".

Some of the exchanges just seem unnecessary, like that may be what some people call friendly but others may not.

We regular the areas, and it was our first time...

This was a big disappointment. I loved this place in its former incarnation “Coffee Corner” and was excited to try it. My 7yo son and I came for Sunday breakfast. Service was not good. Pleasant, but knew zero about the menu. I asked about the omelets with meat and she said she was vegetarian and never tried them. That’s fine. I asked about the vegetarian omelets and she told me she didn’t know these either. Coffee and water service were not prompt and the food took an exceptionally long time (breakfast in a 3/4 empty restaurant. Cinnamon roll looked good, but tasted stale and not fresh. Disappointing and my son who loves these left 2/3 on his plate. My pulled pork omelet and potatoes were excellent. I so, so, so wanted to love this place, but it was not to be. Sigh.

Before I visit a restaurant, I thoroughly read the reviews. I could tell by the reviews left that this was a place we wouldn't regret. My husband and I got the short rib and my kids had the pancakes, eggs and potatoes. I would rate everything 10/10. It was the best huevos rancheros I've ever had--and being I've had it at many great places, this says a lot. Potatoes were delicious (I'm also VERY picky when it comes to breakfast potatoes). The staff was all extremely friendly. Frequently kept our coffee refilled. I was able to watch the chefs preparing the meals from my seat. Everything was as fresh as can be. Everything they made and sent out looked incredible. We will 10000% be back. You won't regret your visit here! Superb restaurant!
