Pairings Cigar Bar — Restaurant in Media

Tonight was my first time here, catching up with A buddy of mine who between the two of us don't have a lot of free time in our schedules at the same time.

We sat up at the front in front of the two windows that face the street, and smoked some Plasencia Alma Fuerte.

This has become my new favorite cigar. Being 3 years sober, I do not drink, but my buddy had a couple glasses of whiskey and a beer.

The bartender here is phenomenal. Such a great guy, laid back, and takes his job seriously enough to be good at it, but not an overbearing parent that I see at most "member-based" cigar lounges.

Checked on us just enough to make sure that our glasses were filled, cigars lit, and nothing else was needed. High five to that gentleman, unfortunately I forgot to get his name.

About the great...

I don't get here as much as I'd like. By the time my shift is over, they're usually closed. Knowledgeable staff with cigar options. I needed gift ideas for a cigar smoking buddy and they were aces. Cigarette smoking is tolerated but, dirty looks from some cigar Nazis do happen occasionally. Food and desserts are excellent. Perfect end of a hard day... nibbles with some great drinks and a smoke. The service is absolutely superb. Owners are very friendly and should be very proud. Nicely dressed staff, surgically clean establishment, very luxurious and comfortable seating. A little pricy for my budget but, I am glad to pinch pennies just to afford to splurge and enjoy this great spot. It is worth...

What an enjoyable evening. Drove 45 minutes to Media to meet a friend for cigars and beer. Pairings is not your typical smoke filled cigar bar (hope that is not taken as a negative). I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. They have a super relaxed atmosphere and serve alcohol and provide a light food menu. The cigar/bartender, Devin was super engaging and friendly. Unlike other cigar shops, I did not reek of smoke after leaving Parings. This is a major plus! If I lived any closer, I would definitely be a regular. That being said,...
