Usually I don’t have any problems with Romeos but after last night I will not order from here anymore. I called to check on the eta of my pizza because it had been an hour since we ordered it and we didn’t get any notifications that it was on the way yet, they told me it was on the way. Then another hour passed (50 mins if you want to be as accurate as the manager) so I called back and they said the pizza just left. I had told them they said that an hour ago and the lady handed the phone to her manager who was extremely rude, he talked to me like I was a child. He also kept telling me I was wrong over and over again when I told him I was looking at all of the order details and times on my phone but he continued to talk to me like I was a child and tell me I was completely wrong. I’ve worked in customer service a long time, I’ve had stressful days too, but never have I ever spoken to a customer the way this guy spoke to me. Very rude and extremely unprofessional. Get it together Romeo’s, you won’t keep many customers with a manager like that. The pizza was cold as well upon delivery. At that point we had had enough of being spoken to poorly and just decided to eat...
Read moreRomeo's used to be my go-to pizza place in Medina. In the recent years, they have slowly gone downhill, but Sunday night was by far the worst experience food-wise.
My family ordered a bunch of wings for the football game, as well as some pizza and a calzone for me. The wings were, I kid you not, 90% breading and 10% meat. I bit into one that was all breading and no meat whatsoever. They were also embarrassingly small - about the size of a ping pong ball, some even tinier. They also came untossed in the flavors we requested. Instead, the sauces came in plastic containers inside the wing boxes, meaning that we were expected to toss the wings ourselves. It was literally like we had ordered a pack of McDonald's nuggets and asked for dipping sauce on the side. Unbelievable.
My calzone also wasn't amazing. The bacon was crammed in the middle of the calzone and the cheese was stuck to the sides. A little mixing of the filling would have been nice.
After this experience, I will never order wings from Romeo's again and maybe even pizza as well. If you want a place that does pizza and wings the right way, go to Gionino's. (FYI: Their wings come WITH SAUCE...
Read moreI've lived in Medina my whole life, so safe to say I've ate Romeo's pizza many many times. Unfortunately this evening will be the last time I do. I had ordered $30 of pizza and it was a waste. The pizza was cold, barely any cheese with large areas just sauce, and pieces with no toppings at all. Also the mushrooms had weird black, burnt, crusty things all over them. I thought maybe today they just had someone new working, so i called them up just to let them know so they could make sure no other pizzas went out like that. I was very disappointed to be told by the manager that he , himself , was the one who made the pizzas and he told me they were perfect went they were made. He then stated "maybe your daughter was eating toppings off when she picked them up". What!!?? Lol!!! I was speechless and stunned at the audacity and childish behavior of this "manager". He did offer to remake it or give me a credit , but even this was stated while interrupting me while i was trying to state the problem. Once he brought my daughter into the conversation i was obviously done with the phone call. I thanked him and hung up. No more romeo's for me...
