Last week my brother called your Lemay Ferry store & asked if they would be open on July 4th & if so what time they would be closing & he was told 4pm. So we made plans for a family get together at my brothers house after myself, my wife along w/my sister, her husband, daughter & grandson went to Jefferson Barracks to visit our parents, mom passed away this past May & we wanted to check the site out. We decided to call your Lemay Ferry store before we left the cemetery to place our order. As we left the cemetery at 2:50 my sister called. The phone rang & rang & rang only to be answered & hung up on. I asked if she was sure of the number(She lives in California but has the number in her own cell phone) so I opened my cell phone & hit the number only to have it ring several times & hung up on. We thought that was odd so we headed to the store. When we arrive there was a sign on the door saying they closed at 3 o'clock. But oddly enough when you looked at the sign you could tell the sign originally said the store closed at 4 o'clock & they did a poor job of covering up the change. Mind you we all did realize it was the 4th of July and like most people the workers wanted to go home. Problem is like I said before we were told the store was closing at 4pm. It's really sad that NO ONE at that store could have be polite enough to pick up the phone & tell its calling customers that they to close earlier. The 15 or so family members who were waiting for Bellacino's pizza were now without pizza or a Plan B because we were told the store closing at 4pm. But that's OK, because as we drove towards Hillsboro to my brothers house my niece pulled out that handy electronic device and found a local Pizza place that was more then happy to take our $200 plus order. Sadly what makes this story even worse is the fact my mom(who we were visiting at the cemetery) had been driving about 40 miles round trip to eat at our "Favorite Pizza" place every week for the past 5 plus years with her neighbor friend & this is how it ended. This has upset my whole family to the point we all have said it'll be a LONG while before we eat there again, because this left a really bad taste in our mouths by the way we...
Read moreMy initial reaction was to give the store a 0 star rating but I cannot. Plus, Sabrina and Pete saves it for me however and I appreciate the service. My visit began when my family and I walked in at 8:20 p.m. despite the business closing, the young blond girl greeted us with "we are closing in 20 minutes" and reminded me 3 times while I was ordering. Between 8:20 and 8:27 I was informed 4 times the store was closing at 9 o'clock. I did inform her I was aware and we just needed 2 large pizzas. One pizza was pepperoni and one was just cheese. I also stated I wanted an order of wings but she ignored me. The total came to a little over $41 and she asked if we were dining in or carrying out. I said we will dine in and be out before 9. She rolled her eyes and the showed me on the screen where I could add a tip. Normally I would tip and had a $20 bill to tip. I do not write tips on credit cards because it forces employees to claim their tips and pay taxes. Taxation is theft so I prefer giving cash. However, I had a feeling the young woman did not want me or my money there. Pete came from behind the kitchen few minutes later and was an awesome representative of the business. He was friendly, engaging, and made me feel welcome. Sabrina was also an absolute sweetheart. I may not be back to this business next time I am in the area. If I do stop back, I hope the service is more reflective of Sabrina and Pete rather than the other young woman. In all likelihood, she may have just had a bad day. I hope it got better. The pizza was decent. Wings may have been awesome but I didn't get them when I ordered. 2 of the 3...
Read moreOrder Two 3 topping pizzas, lasagna and a meatball sandwich. One pizza looked like it was supposed to be a half and half pizza because there was no bacon one side of the pizza and both were cut it huge pieces and about half wasn’t even cut. The meatball sandwich was so thin that a McDonald’s hamburger had more meat on it and is thicker It had sliced meatball on it, the bread was soggy and the cheese was burned. I would’ve expected it to have at least half the amount of sauce and meat that was on my sandwich that the lasagna had.. The gentleman that had the lasagna said it was OK. But he gave it a four out of 10.. This is the type of service we got after we gave the server A 20% tip at the register.. All the server did was hand us our food and walked away. He gave our party of 6 no plates, napkins or silverware I’m sorry to say this is probably the worst service I’ve ever had at this place, it is our favorite place for pizza and I’ve been going there for over 20 years. Hopefully this is a one...
