I love BBQ and like to try new spots at the various places I visit. By rule I rarely if ever order brisket of I am not in Texas, but when I watched them slice the brisket for another customer I decided I need to give them a whirl. I ordered the three meat plate, got brisket, sausage, and ribs. My sides were their beans and Mac and cheese. Also tried their sweet and mustard BBQ sauce. So onto food review. The brisket was extremely delicious however it was somehow exposed to too much moisture which rendered it too tender. They claim to use a Texas style blend which is just basically pepper and salt and the expertise of the pit master. They for sure got it right on the brisket, the moisture issue was just storage and had zero to do with cook. Their sausage was very good although the grind on the meat was too much and it rendered the consistency to almost potted meat in casing. Now the ribs....those are something special. They put this glaze on there that is nothing short of spectacular and paired with their mustard sauce sends the angels singing. The beans were another show stopper. They by far are the best BBQ beans I have ever had and that says a lot. The Mac and cheese was pedestrian at best so next time I go I plan on something different. My Kids met up for lunch this week and came here. Our son is a BBQ critic kind of guy. When he came back to the office he raved about this place. Our daughter also texted me telling me that Dad & I HAD to try it. My husband & I placed an order to go last night after speaking with a very nice gal on the phone. Very helpful & friendly. I am bad with names but I think her name was Lisa? We couldn't decide on what to get so we ordered a 1/2 lb of all meats, a pint of Beans and Mac & cheese. We'll have left overs tonight but we agreed with the kids. The ribs are to die for, in fact all the meats were. The BBQ is the best I have ever tasted, hands down. So glad this place is close to the office, but worth the drive from Palm Bay when we are home. I'll tell my neighbors and co-workers about this place. Only problem is if they get so busy, there won't be any for us. LOL I don't usually post reviews, but these people know what they are doing and deserve the 5 stars we are giving. BBQ average but not worth the expense and experience. Thought I would give them a try during this trying time. MISTAKE. Called in order for pickup. Sat parked at a curbside sign they had posted “to stay in your car we will come to you” had headlights on, in designated spot with car door open, waited for 30 minutes. Actually watched folks come in and place orders pick up and leave while I waited and waited. Finally I got out of the car and approached the only waiter they had working, and he says “ did you call to let us know you are here” no I said you told me a pick up time and I am here and you have my number besides you are like 10 feet from me what’s up with that? Food was so cold and greasy when I got home it was like leftover garbage. NOt Impressed! Your clients will make you or break you. I will never go there again.
