it’s been such a long day and we decided to grab a pizza from Marcos! I typed in marco’s pizza on google and called the number that came up not knowing it was for another location ( not near me). I pressed the navigate button without thinking about it and slowly realized it was taking me to a different one but I felt bad for flaking and heading to the Rockledge location so I headed there nonetheless. I wanted them to do the right thing and offer to make me new pizzas and cheesy bread since it was an honest mistake and I ended up doing the right thing. NOPE! The person I first made contact with ( later known as the franchise owner) greeted me with a nasty attitude and I immediately knew this would go sour. He said pick up? I told him yes but explained the situation. First strike was when he wanted to blame me by saying well did you call in because we state wickham road several time. YES I CALLED I AND NO. No one said anything about wickham hence why I am here. DO NOT BLAME THE CUSTOMER FOR YOUR LACK OF CARE SIR. I explained to him that my pizzas are probably cold and would like them remade. He takes my pizzas and slams them on the counter and goes “ it hasn’t been that long!” Nope! He ignores my request and stated, oh they are still hot you see? And touches the box which was semi cold. I open the box and touch my pizza and say unfortunately I have to drive all the way to cocoa and they are not hot anymore. He said okay I’ll reheat them. I asked again “could you make new pizzas and cheesy bread? I’ll wait until it’s ready!” He again refuses to even acknowledge my request and decides to blurt out instead that he will reheat them. Okay sir just ignore the customer twice why don’t you!!! I was getting super upset! Not only is this guy super rude but he’s refusing to make new pizzas for a paying customer after owning up to my mistake. This is when it got even more appalling. He decides to not wash his hands at all and does not use any gloves and starts touching my pizzas and flinging them on the tray with no level of care. He looks so miserable doing it all meanwhile I am now extremely upset and bummed knowing our pizzas will suck and there is nothing I can do to change that. He put them in the oven for 1 minute... they legit look burned and dry and trust me they tasted the same. The owner decides to not even interact with me or saying anything so the other worker comes up front for payment. I asked that worker (Joel) who that person is in the company to his response being the owner... I said the owner of this Marcos? He said this and Palm Bay. franchise owner. WOW HOW INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTING TO GET THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I EXPERIENCED FROM A FRANCISE OWNER! The lack of care, laziness, and downright rude responses and dismissals were unnessesary and I could have easily said I wouldn’t pick them up and went to the Rockledge location which would have been a convenience for me but I chose to be nice and look where it got me... this man needs customer service training, a mega vacation apparently, and maybe not to work in human services all together. Corporate will hear from me, I’ll make sure of it and from now on, the only Marcos pizza I go to is not owned by you Rich. It’ll be...

This fast-growing global franchise has 1,100 stores, two of them in Melbourne (the other on Babcock Street). If you think that is a lot, consider that Pizza Hut has over 18,000 locations worldwide (five in the Melbourne area). Founded in 1978 outside of Toledo, Ohio, by Pascale "Pat" Gianmarco, Marco's Pizza states on its website that their fresh-made dough and obsession over details are what separates them from the noise. Professing to "Cut Slices, Not Corners" they brag that were ranked the fastest-growing pizza brand based on year-over-year unit growth, according to a Top 500 U.S. Restaurant Ranking in 2021. Sounds impressive, but the proof of the pizza is in the eating.
Jeremy was manning the front of the house. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and even set up the order for the lunch discount, instead of full price. Much appreciated.
As a dedicated alliaphage, who loves anything with garlic, I dug in.
First, I tried a pizza that was half plain cheese and half ground beef with two types of pepperoni--regular pepperoni and "Old World Pepperoni ®."
Then I ordered the Italiano Sub with ham, salami, cheese, banana peppers, tomatoes, onions, and sub dressing.
How does Marco's compare to other well-established take-out/delivery pizza chains? I can sum it up easily: Meh.
Despite a 2019 Harris Poll EquiTrend Study that claimed Marco's to be the "Most Loved Pizza Brand," I found nothing special about it. If you are committed elsewhere, stick with your go-to. If you get angry with them, try this joint and then go back and forgive your old standby.

Read moreOn Campus Review: I have been to this location several times and gotten good food, but they work together with the campus location I assume. The campus location doesn't have a website. After one time of some serious indigestion a month and half ago and then last week, from Thursday until Sunday suffering from food poisoning. I'm done with this place.
I ate their food wednesday afternoon got indigestion didn't eat anything until Thursday morning trying to relax my stomach, but got nausea, dizzy spells, turning stomach, and vomiting to finally clear it out and get some peace, but the abdominal pain and lack of control lasted the entire weekend.
I normally don't write reviews unless something really bad happened. I won't be coming back and this should be easily fixed by increasing their cleanliness and proper food handling.
My real email has my name in it and I don't want to be bothered, but I won't risk this food again, some experiences in life make you never come...
