To good to pass up!

I had my last Fall 4-H pistol Safety class at the Glenview Community Center yesterday November 29th, until the holidays are over and the kids are back in school with a couple of weeks to settle in, so February. I am the co-Coordination for Shelby County (greater Memphis) 4-H Shooting Sports and their Pistol Instructor. I realized when I came to Memphis that someone needed to teach Pistol Safety to the inter-city youth whose only knowledge was from playing video games and TV. So I'm being Grandpa, showing them that there is no "reset button" in real life if you hurt or kill someone with a firearm.

Anyway, with the class being a week after Thanksgiving I wanted to do something special for the kids and the Staff at Glenview. My wife suggested I take a tray of cookies from Makeda's Cookies, as she had had some brought to her office and thought they were amazing. So I ordered a tray of 120 (mixed three types) smaller 2 bite sized cookies.

While I was setting up for the class, the kids were in the same room doing their homework. So I set bowls of these cookies on the homework table saying, As this is our last class until February, so I brought everyone a Holiday treat!"

I'm not much of a desert person, but I had to try one of each type. WOW! They were amazing! I found myself having another one of each! That was when I realized I had to get them distributed and to some to the Staff ... or my diet was going to crash in flames. The tray had chocolate chip, butter, and oatmeal with raisin cookies. All were fantastic made even sweeter realizing Makeda, who I spoke with, grew up in the Glenview area and was clearly a success story, herself.

If you want a party, after dinner treat, a holiday offering, or just to take to your hotel room ... try this place. I would warn you they make 12 types of cookies and not a lot else. So it isn't much of a cake, pie or bread place! However, their slogan "Best Butter Cookies in the World" is there for a reason ....... and you might want to grab a few for yourself.

Needless to say, when I left Glenview Community Center after 2 hours there wasn't a cookie...

Let me tell yall something...a sweet tooth lover knows good sweets and pairing that with a Butteriffic receipe that includes butteriffic customer service and deserts that literally melts in your mouth is a perfect way to keep dessert lovers like me coming back for a Butteriffic Experience! Bananna Pudding(should be named Butteriffic Bananna Parfait) I am a southern girl that cooks her custard (pudding) on the stove, so where this isn't a bash, it's just an honest review of this particular dessert. It's was balanced well with the Butteriffic minis topping the whipped light Bananna flavored pudding throughout with the right amount of sliced bananas as the crumbled cookie crust bottom compliments its finish. 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Strawberry Cookies Omg! I have NEVER had a buttery Strawberry cookie like this! It was moist, soft, flavorful and buttery! Melted in my mouth almost literally. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies Just like it sounds but BUTTERY! Same review as the Strawberry cookie texture and flavorful. Wish it was bigger(I'm greedy😂) 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I visited Butteriffic one Saturday afternoon (Self-care Day). After the Cigar Festival 🥮 This wasn't my first visit. Therefore, when I walked into the bakery 🥯🧁 the warmth welcome and love was so amazing. All the staff united together and making sure all needs were met. Tamika, greeted me with so much love (Heavy Hitter). Her and the staff baked me fresh baked butter cookies. Tamika, always support and lift other's. Tamika, is an exceptional business owner who cares for the community and other neighborhood business. She also opens doors for creators. Giving others to expand their gifts and talents. Tamika your last 6 months is going to be a BLAST OFF! You have stepped in a season called "HARVEST.". Seeds do sprout up on good ground. The overflow of blessings is overtaking you, your family, and business. You will lend to nations. You made me feel so good that Saturday afternoon. When you walk in Tamika's establishment.
