Five Guys — Restaurant in Memphis

From the time you walk in… the atmosphere is one that impresses you with “ something good is going to happen “. The employees are enthusiastic, proud, even liking their job, at a hamburger joint ..?!?:;£%? . Not in my lifetime .

At the midtown Five Guys , this exactly what I found .

Plus , a hamburger with NO FILLERS . I grew up in the Midwest where fillers in the hamburger meat put you out of business.

French fries where the farm they picked the potatoes are on the potato’s sacks that are stacked up in plain view .

That’s not all , fast food chain , to increase profit use “ fake potatoes “.

I’ve traveled to 48 states , 14 countries during my tour days .

I’ve never seen people cutting raw potatoes and ten put them in “ fresh oil “ , drain them and salted to perfection.

Chicago undoubtedly has been home to the best hamburgers and deep dish pizza .

You’d have to do to Chicago to get their hamburgers .

Not anymore . I can go 5 blocks away and get the best burger I’ve ever had….. BUT, what makes this midtown Memphis Five Guys so special are the people who can’t wait to see their customers take their first bite into a hamburger that the team just made . These team members are what puts the “ finishing “ touches on a unique experience…. At a simple hamburger joint .

Gotta go to midtown Five Guys .

I only hope the owners know how integrated the team members are here , and pay them...

I just left five guys walking to my car thinking to myself “wow what a great experience I’ve got to write a review.” I walked in and was greeted by the three guys behind the counter in a appropriate way not too loud or scripted but very friendly. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands before priding the bathroom was clean. I went to the counter and one of the guys who was actively assisting the line said “I’ll be right there as he started to walk my way.” I told him I needed a minute he was said take my time then went back to helping. When I was ready I looked up at him and he asked if I was ready and I said yes and he came and took my order. I wait a few minutes then my order was ready. Mother guy called out my order in a loud enough voice I heard him. I was moving slowly and fully expected him to place my order on the counter but he stood there until I walked up to grab it from him. He smiled at me and told me to enjoy or something along those lines. I haven’t been to a five guys in a bit but after this experience I will be back...

Location acted like I didn’t place and order then made the order once I showed proof on my app. Location tried to say the order just hadn’t came through yet when I had showed that I had placed it 16 minutes prior they asked to see my order three separate times because they couldn’t accept that they handed my food to someone else or that it was on their end. Then when they handed me my order they still asked me if I was door dash and trying to see if I was basically stealing. Won’t be coming here again. Horrible service. My name is Garrett.
