Unfortunately, this isnāt what youād expect from a restaurant known for hospitality and family settings. However, my family and I went to dine and the experience was beyond disappointing. After being sat, it took them awhile to greet us. We didnāt even know who are server was suppose to be. Two servers brought us drinks and then it took them awhile again for anyone to check on us to take our food orders. We were a large party so I was understanding if it was a staff shortage but we did watch other servers greet and that orders for at least two tables before our food order was taken. When we asked who our server was, one person told us it was a new server who never introduced herself to us. The manager told us she believed it was a different server who was the main server assisting us. Then a third server check on us and told us the manager didnāt want her serving us and that when they get larger parties the other servers take those tables. By this point we been here for almost an hour and only had our drinks. But at last, our food orders for does get taken. My aunt was ticked off and wanted to speak to a manager. We were told the manager was a bit busy and would get with us shortly. We managed to catch the manager moments later and she informed us that she was actually in the kitchen cooking the food and apologized for the inconveniences we were experiencing especially because itās still unclear who our server actually was. Our food came in bits and pieces. Some of my family got their sides and had to wait 19 minutes for their main. My sister got her pancakes and waited almost 20 minutes for her sides. My aunt never got her turkey sausage but after waiting so long she didnāt want it anymore. Some of the food was warm at best. And I didnāt get my correct platter until we was ready to go so I just took it to go. When it came down to pay, my mom and aunts recipe didnāt have gratuity added and they both paid cash. Long story short the server pocketed some of the change as a form of gratuity before my mom could even leave her some as a tip. So all that added killed the experience all together. We can give some grace because being short staffed happens, having a slow kitchen happens, mistakes happens. But grace only goes so far and as a manager for a hospitality chain myself, how we handles those mistakes and mishaps goes a long way for our guests. This was my familyās first time here and we wonāt be returning. This is just to bring awareness to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe young Indian lady is awesome. The Latino/Hispanic dude cooking, has a problem with black people. I frequent that location because I live closer than a mile away. His name is āDaddioā according to the hostess. Do not spend your money at this location if heās at work. He will play with your food which is playing with your money. The reason I remember him specifically is because I ordered a Classic Combo on the app. I couldnāt add extra pickles on the app, so i walked in and asked for it. The dude literally put a salad on my burger. Insane the stack of onions, he put 4 tomatoes and a handful of lettuce on the sandwich. Iām unsure what his problem is but he obviously isnāt a good cook.
Pictured is what the inside of the thinnest IHOP patty Iāve ever had. It was RAW in the middle. Donāt order online, or when heās at work. Donāt even bother calling because they wonāt even answer the phone. This is the 3rd Classic Combo this dude has ruined. Never again. If I order it online and he does it again, Iām requesting a refund. I refuse to stop ordering because heās incompetent.
Update 7/12: still NOTHING from the Mexican American owner. Not only is he very dirty, he lacks what it takes to operate a business.
ONLY eat there if the young African American guy is at work. They hostess Katy us GREAT. I hate she has to work for such...
