Lennys Grill & Subs — Restaurant in Memphis

It is routine every Tuesday and Thursday that my daughter and i patronize Lennys in Memphis after dance class. This past Thursday we went to Lennys on riverdale rd since i was out that way in transit to pick her up from dance and experienced one of the greatest disappointments have ever encountered in the 2 years we have been consistently patronizing. The worker who made my sandwich pants was below his whole bottom exposing his underware and full shape of his bottom, walked off sandwich making station soon as the order was placed so the guy who took my order has to glove up and make my sandwich. I gave specific instruction on what i wanted for my sandwich. Once i received the sandwich and opened it to eat, it had NOTHING OF WHAT I ASKED TO BE ON THE SANDWICH which was lett, honey mustard and American cheese but everything my daughter didn’t want!!!!! HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!! But i just also say overall we love Lennys subs. We will continue to patronize but at our regular location that gives us OUTSTANDING service (4970 Raleigh Lagrange rd....

Today I went in at around 3:30 to get my favorite, the reaper Philly, with only 1 person in front on me I waited to place my order when I noticed the guy taking the orders was also the cook. I watched him take money and give change and after taking care of the guy ahead of me he proceeded to head into the back where without a thought, he started preparing the customers hot order while a young lady began to take my order next. Now I'm not upset at the fact he didn't take my order be he walked away, the problem is he the same gloves he had on from taking orders and money then giving change with, are the same gloves he kept on while he proceeded to prepare food again!!🤢 I'm sure this is not common for I have never seen the cook take orders but it was disgusting and unsanitary, please address that ASAP! I hadn’t been to Lenny’s in a while and decided to go on Friday May 2nd for lunch. The Riverdale location has always been my favorite because of the way they prepare their subs. The staff has completely changed and also the portion of deli meat on the subs. The staff is very friendly, however, I ordered a 7 1/2 inch Deluxe Club Sub and my sandwich was thinner than subway. There was plenty of veggies but barely any meat. Very disappointing. I’ve been a customer of the Riverdale Lenny’s location for many years. The Hacks Cross location is closest to me but I would drive further for the better service and preparation of the subs. It will be a while before I return again.
