Oh my gosh I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful this place is. first off we stayed at the Graceland RV park and if you stay at the RV park there you get a 10% discount off of your food in which we forgot to tell the ladies that we didn't get our 10% but that's okay because we still got a free limousine ride in which we had an awesome limousine driver and of course we gave him a $10 tip but they come and picked us up in the pink limousine we got tomorrow's restaurant ordered an appetizer the homemade chips deluxe appetizer we took pictures and everything of Elvis inside of the restaurant then we stepped outside and smoked a cigarette as we waited for our entrees then I'll food came out by the time we came in in which my husband at the barbecued shrimp with two tides he got macaroni and cheese and the burgundy mushrooms I got the chicken sandwich with the burgundy mushrooms the chicken sandwich has gouda cheese on it it was absolutely delicious I was so full dog and only have I will be eating my leftovers today and my husband finished off all his shirt but he couldn't finish his side's so we brought them home and we will be eating those today also then the limousine driver take us back home and when I say an awesome driver I can't even begin to tell you how awesome our driver was even made sure I had to go bobs and a bag before I left because the waitress that was was extremely busy because it was late at night and she was on the floor by herself so instead of me having to wait for the waitress with her being so busy he got my takeout box and he brought me banks that a little while later and then he went ahead and took us back to our b-side super good guy really enjoyed the conversation we had with him and I believe that guy needs a raise because he goes above and beyond for everyone and he is just super nice guy and I have to go to laid back man that truly deserve the right I don't know what makes but I must say one more time he deserves a raise. So if Milos is reading this the guy that was working last night I don't know if y'all have more limo drivers are not but there's a white man and he was working last night and he took me and my husband and an older couple back to our place as last night and that man right there it's super helpful and informative and a lively type and he had super good stuff to say about Marlow's in general. I only wish we had a Marlow's where we live in Texas I think they need to Branch out and have chain restaurants because everyone deserves try this restaurant at least once. I just posted 33 pictures check it out do not message chance with this place you will be not be disappointed...
Read moreCannot recommend Marlowes. Picked up 15 minutes late in a beat up, old pink Cadillac limo by a driver who had nothing good to say about the limos except that they were broken down beaters with too many miles and too many years on them. He also bragged on the food and he couldn’t have been more wrong. First, the interior was filled with Elvis memorabilia, which is fine, it’s only a mile from Graceland. But the rest of the place is stuck in the 60s with dirty carpet, old furnishings, and generally had the appearance of a run down on its last legs restaurant. I had the two meat, two side combination. My wife had smoked half chicken with coleslaw & baked potato. My two meats were brisket and pork ribs with corn fritters and fried okra. My wife said the chicken was awful as was the coleslaw. The baked potato was cold. My brisket was pretty good but the chef dumped BBQ sauce all over it on the plate and mostly ruined the flavor. The pork ribs were horrible. Everyone knows ribs are smoked or grilled on a smoker with good smoke until they shrink on the bone about a half inch and have a darkish caramel color. They’re then basted or mopped with bbq sauce lightly about 3 or 4 times until the bbq sauce is baked in. Not these ribs. They tasted like they were pressure cooked for 20 to 30 minutes placed on a plate and had bbq sauce poured over them, then served. Just terrible! Nothing wrong with the frozen corn and okra deep fried and served. The place also had a bothersome fly that would not stop landing on or near our food. Now for the real shocker. For my wife and I, we got to pay $85 for that slop. I don’t want to eat bad food for free, let alone pay $85 for that opportunity. If you’re looking for good food at a reasonable price,...
Read moreHad seen rave reviews about Marlows, seen the novelty pink cadillac thought we would try it on our last night in Memphis. Car picked us up, nice driver who also took us back to the hotel. Female server was nice and friendly, there was a great atmosphere. A male server came over to ask what drinks we would like, got our drinks, we were reading the menu, he turned it over and pointed at the appetisers and stood there waiting for us to order appetisers, we didn't want to order under pressure so refused appetisers, if he had explained the menu or made recommendations and gave us some time we might of ordered appertisers. We ordered our food, it arrived it was tasty, brisket was cold but tasted OK. Whilst eating the male server came back, lent over the table to grab some napkins from the far end of the table, mid us trying to get our forks to our mouths. The next minute our bill arrived, we were still eating. I had not finishes my meal, if I hadn't held onto my plate he would of taken it, then asked if we wanted take out cups for our drinks. At this point we felt really unwelcome at the restaurant. We had to go and ask another server for the menu for pudding, the male server asked if we were eating them in the restaurant or take out!! We had our pudding which was really nice. I went to pay and didn't want to leave a tip, my choice or so I thought, the male server followed me out to the parking lot and told me I had not finish filling in my receipt, basically followed me out thinking that I should of left him a tip!!! I felt that was disgusting, if I had received good service I would left a tip, I had rubbish server so no tip. I would not recommend Marlows to anyone I know that will be...
