Insulted at McDonald’s on Elvis Presley Date: 03/26/22. Time: approximately:10:50am I waited over 30 minutes in the drive thur and 3 cars were ahead of me in the double drive through line. I’m a black female age 70. I was hungry and had not eaten that day. Finally at the order station. Over the speaker, the cashier asked if I could hold a minute. I said yes. She came back and asked to take my order. I was ordering from the buy 1 get 1 for a dollar menu. After ordering my sandwiches, & fries, the cashier asked if that was all. I hesitated trying to determine if they had the special all drinks sizes for a dollar. The next thing I knew, the order window info disappeared . I responded “hello, hello! “. There was no response so I drove around to the cashier window. I had to wait because the car in front of me was blocking the window. When I finally got to the window, the cashier, a black female, told me that she did not take my order. I was stunned. I asked her to repeat. She said I did not take your order, I told you to wait, I can only take 2 orders at a time. I said what was the last order you took . She said for a 20 piece nugget meal. I said what happened to my order. Said she doesn’t know. I said well , who was I talking to. She said she didn’t know. I said well what do you want me to do? She said “You can get back in line and drive back around.” I said “what?” She repeated it. I lost it! I called her a crazy b-t-h. This is out of character for me. She picked up her cell phone. I was hoping she was calling the police cause today was not the day. I never been arrested. She may have been recording the conversation. She looked real smug and told me I could go some where else and eat. I told her she is very unprofessional and does not represent McDonald well . I asked her name. She closed the window. Although, I was wrong to use profanity, I was overcome with emotions!!!!! This young lady is probably in her 20’s. Her temperament is probably the result of some abuse she has receive. I apologize for the profanity. I feel that this young lady needs help
And we all need...
Read moreI went to this location on 4/28/25 and ordered gave a few them my code and told the person exactly what I wanted…the code was medium fry, drink and a choice between 3 things. I wanted a sweet tea and filet. She began to ask me if I wanted the meal???!!! I told her it was basically the meal but whatever comes with the deal. She kept asking if I wanted the meal?! I realized she was illiterate so I pulled around to speak to someone else who would. The manager girl was there. So I began talking to her bc slow girl with the big bump on her face wasn’t understanding. The bump girl kept trying to address me so I told her to shut up bc I wasn’t talking to her. She got ghetto like her surroundings. Just so happen a guy manager came and popped up beside my truck . As he was tryna deesculate the a situation or calm his tired employee down. She asked me did I want her to come outside but I never saw her out the door. So as this is going on I notice everyone kept walking by the window to see me. One tired lady has the audacity to stretch her head and neck so long u would’ve thought she was part giraffe and owl. So I asked y is everyone in my face. Nah she wanna get loud and proudly say I’m a MANAGER. 😂😂😂😂! When it’s already 2 here but so u need a cookie for accomplishment such a huge goal manager of McD? The manager guy asked me to move up but walked up tryna stand beside the window. This place is ghetto. Read moreI just want to say how pleasantly surprised I was about a month and a half ago when I stopped and had lunch at the McDonald's on Elvis Presley & Milbranch. For years now I have been telling my daughter about how good fast food used to taste. And that Micky D's was the best! When we were greeted and servred with respect and delicious fresh food on this particular day, I told my daughter, "NOW THIS IS WHAT MCDONALDS IS SUPPOSED TO TASTE LIKE! ". I don't know anyone that works there, and I live about 45 minutes North of this location , so I wasn't expecting much of anything but just something to put in our stomachs while we work. We have been delivery drivers since Covid19 & the death of my husband just to make ends meet. We have pretty much become experts at all these fast foods places around town. We know which ones we'd eat at & ones we'd avoid. When we work in the Graceland area, THIS MCDONALDS is where we eat. It almost brings back a feeling of nostalgia just sinking my teeth in to that juicy quarter pounder and those PERFECT HOT FRESH FRIES. I really want to give a ten star raiting because I didn't realize that there were still good McDonalds that make the food the way it is supposed to taste, since SO many have fell short of doing so. Thank you for taking me back to my teenage years. Thank you for trying your staff to be respectful & professional. Someone is doing a...
