I work night shift and decided to stop by here on the way home under the assumption it’s “usually not busy” as google maps said for this location.
FALSE, I placed my order thinking I would just drive up get it and go. False. The line was already 10 cars long that’s 5 on each side not to include the cars that had already placed their order and were just waiting to pay and collect their food. 🤦🏽♀️.
I was unable to just Good evening my order at the door because it was after 11 pm. Unfortunately there were only 3 people working on shift this night so it explains the long line.
Once i received my food it was Delicious! Well worth the HOUR and half wait. It was fresh and not old even though I had placed my order online an hour before making it to the window.
The manager and employees were very polite and working so diligently.
I probably won’t stop by here after work ever again lol BUT I will stop by during the day when most are at work and the line isn’t wrapped around the location.
The food is well worth it. I ordered a jalapeño and cheese Whataburger with fries onion rings sweet tea. I live 30 minutes from the location and once home it was still warm the bun was still crisp and not soggy at all no other fast food place can compare to this burger. The fries and onion rings were not fresh but not bad. The sweet tea is no match for McDonald’s or chic fi la. But Whataburger burger can beat all these other places any day anytime.

Read moreWe usually love Whataburger but this location seems desperately to need more organization and management. The drive thru is incredibly slow and so we choose curbside pickup and yet the last few times we’ve chosen this option we’ve had to go in to retrieve our own food. We sat in our car for 10-15 minutes past the time window we selected for our pickup. Then the food we ordered was made incorrectly. My cheeseburger was missing the cheese, it had one tiny tomato slice about the size of a silver dollar and then about four small pieces of chopped lettuce. My husband’s burger had mayo on it when he didn’t even ask for mayo (it’s not even something that is typically included on a Whataburger). When I went back in to get my husbands burger remade (I decided to eat mine as it was, despite the disappointment) there were three other people all coming in for missing or incorrect items and one person who said they had been in the drive up for 30 minutes. It’s definitely NOT fast food if it takes 30 min and it’s also NOT fast food if it’s always incorrectly prepared. My fries were also all burnt, our onion rings soggy and not one person took ownership for these mistakes and not one person apologized for these errors to ANY...
Read moreToday I finally got myself down to Whataburger, the beloved Texas burger chain now sweeping the Mid-South. I pulled up to this location and cringed as I saw the sign, “Drive-thru only; Dining room closed” as the drive-thru line was quite long. Once in line, I was committed as there is no escape for your vehicle unless you destroy brand new landscaping by blazing your own trail over the curb. After idling through enough gasoline to drag race with, I ordered and got my food. And this is my verdict: Never in my whole life have I set eyes upon and tasted something that so perfectly imitated with exacting precision the very burger and fries that any proud American raised on the native cuisine of their homeland has already eaten from McDonald’s. If you had told me they went down the street to McDonald’s and put a McBurger and a McFry in their packaging before bringing it out to me, I would have believed you. To be fair, the fries were good, hot, and salted! But the burger was only just ok and, as I said, it was the exact meal one would get at a decent McDonald’s. I wish them well at this location. They did a good job. But temper your expectations about the food itself if you, like me, had never been to a...
