Sumo Japanese Sushi — Restaurant in Memphis

Horrible experience! If I could give this a negative review I would The woman behind the counter who answered the phone, when i called about my order that was incorrect, was rude! When I asked to speak to a manager there is none available, when asked to speak to the owner none was available. She had the audacity to try to charge me for a new order! We had it delivered and she refused to bring me new correct food without a hair in it. She wanted to charge me when I shouldn't have had to come up there in the first place, that was the purpose of delivery. We always loved their food. Always order from them only. EVEN IF THE WAIT WAS LONG. NOT ANY MORE. She stated business was slow.. well if that was the case YOU SHOULD OF BEEN ABLE TO READ THE ORDER CORRECTLY AND FOOD SHOULD OF BEEN ON POINT! She never apologized nor offered to get me a new, correct order. I had to suggest that myself. I would still like to speak to the owner because I doubt he would want his business ran this way and would hope he wouldn't want to lose customers over something that could have easily...

I love the rice here but the lady at the register is sooooooooo rude. Every time I come here she always has an attitude. I’m nothing but respectful to her even when she’s being mean. I always ask for extra sauce and I know that she always charge me 50 cents for each extra sauce which isn’t the problem. Today it took everything in me not to go completely off. We ordered our for to go and As me and my fiancé sat down to wait on our food we decided to go ahead and eat there. He asked her (the lady at the register) for 2 paper plates and her response was “NEXT TIME YOU NEED TO TELL ME AHEAD OF TIME” I was so shocked that she said that. This is how she acts every time we come here. If we ask her for extra sauce she gets an attitude and roll her eyes. We waited for her to come back to the register for extra sauce because she and another employee sat down and ate while customers were in the store. If you want to be treated right do not eat here anymore. I will not return until this woman no longer is able...

I hate leaving bad reviews ! And I love this places food but I ordered for pick up for the first time and actually went in and they were SO RUDE. Terrible customer service. I went in before my order was ready and barely was greeted when I got to the window. When I had a question about crunchies for the soup she acted like I asked her for a bar of gold and told me repeatedly it didn’t come with my soup so of course I was just trying to get some regardless of that fact. But then she told me they didn’t have them at all and quickly moved on to the next person. Not the worse thing in the world that could happen but come on people the first part of good customer service is to be polite. And there was nothing polite about the person who took care of my order. Hopefully the food is still as expected. Otherwise I’ll continue to go to Stix and pay the extra dollars for the better service and...
