JR Fish and Chicken Winchester — Restaurant in Memphis

Do not eat here!! The meat has a processed taste. I thought I was eating chicken but it did not taste the same. The next time I ordered catfish that was chewy and uncooked. She also charged my teenager for 3 extra sodas when he ordered a 4.99 combo. She advised she couldn’t refund him the money back for sodas he didn’t order. As minorities we support them but will no longer do so. So along with the combos she charged my son for 3 large drinks along with 3 additional sodas. A $15 meal was $25. I have had to ask the cooks to wash their hands on several occasions after smoking and preparing my food. Never going back. I will order from the grill next...

Ordered Whiting fish dinner...fish was like rubber....ordered spaghetti....it was cold and had ice in it....I called to inquire why it was cold and had ice in it....young lady was very polite and explained that it is frozen and apologized that it had ice in it...She listened as I explained...ok...I get it about being frozen but sold cold...what if I was buying my hot meal to eat on the road or perhaps didnt have a microwave..I have never heard of buying a hot meal and receiving part of it cold and not being told the spaghetti would be cold...However, I also purchased wings that were good and a kids shrimp meal that...

Please come to this establishment Bissan is such a gem along with Sam and any other server in this establishment. He takes such pride in his restaurant and believes in his product let’s not forget how great the food is. I would come back on customer service alone but out of all the wing spots in Memphis this is my go to. They fry their wings to perfection ( you don’t have to request fried hard or well done) the sauces & seasoning are not overly done just the right amount of spice or sweetness. They all make you feel like family and I will continue to support you should . Awesome...
