So my husband and I have probably spent thousands of dollars at this local starbucks since they’ve opened lol. We always ordered through the app, joked around with the baristas, & left happily with our coffees. Pretty great service & coffee Id say!
Well that was until they started lecturing you if you came a couple minutes earlier than what was stated on the app. I don’t mean just a quick side note - I mean sitting there for 3 MINUTES rudely talking down to you & making you feel bad that you can’t order in the app and get there before your time slot. Excuse me… why does it matter if I order through the app or at the window? AND why are you trying to make paying customers feel bad about it?
It was something that my husband and i would joke around like “I wonder if we’re going to get yelled at today” but now it’s made us stop going to/supporting the Menasha Starbucks and we now only go to Neenah (+ drive the extra 10 mins). I am not one to call a manager EVER but we tried just speaking with them about their customer service & how they talk to customers can turn them off from buying their products. Obviously they don’t care and just said it’s “standard practice” even though I’ve NEVER had the same experience ANYWHERE else.
So if you’re looking for a decent Starbucks with good, quality coffee - go to the Neenah store. Otherwise you’ll be like me disappointed with my brown sugar iced shaken espresso on top of getting yelled at you’re too early.
Yeah, my life is pretty good to complain about Starbucks. But this store...
Read moreI am always impressed by the service provided by the staff at this specific location.
Today around 3PM, I was made aware that my family would be putting our dog down later this week, my best buddy. Naturally, I made a plan to visit my parents to spend time with our good boy this afternoon. I decided to stop by this Starbucks to pick up a chai and a treat (pup cups), so that Petey could feel a little extra special. As I ordered, it was difficult for me to get my order out, as I was holding back tears with a cracked voice. When I got to the window, the barista asked me how I was doing (totally normal). I said I was fine, but you know, when you’re asked and you’re not fine, and trying to be fine, you can’t hold emotions back that are this strong. I couldn’t hold back tears, and even before I could explain anything, they decided to have either them or the house take care of my coffee and two pup cups. I tried to hand the cash that I would have paid for the order as a tip for their kindness. When I had asked, “Well, can I at least tip you with what I would have paid?”.. I was responded with, “Absolutely not!”
The empathy and kindness was very much appreciated and the employee went above and beyond to add a little sparkle to my not-so-fortunate, dark day. It wasn’t necessary, but many times it’s the little things that make a huge impact.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for that extra care today! I will remember this experience for years, if not the rest of my life.

Read moreRead moreI hate giving bad reviews, but several times in the past month I've placed a mobile order for this location 15 min in advance of my arrival for pick up (to make SURE it would not only be ready, but hopefully cooled off enough to consume on my way to my destination because I was in a rush)... Upon my arrival, nothing is in the mobile order pick up spot. Staff see me looking for it there, then go to the printer to find my mobile order still sitting on the printer unnoticed for 15-20 minutes. I do not have time to wait, that is why I placed a mobile order in advance and walked into the store to grab it! To be fair, they have gotten more orders done correctly on time than not, but their track record is only about 6 out of 10 my most recent orders at this location. Maybe there needs to be a better way to notify staff when a mobile order comes in? Audible alert or...
