Menlo Park has a really up and coming strip of restaurants and cafes. Andytown is a coffee roaster from SF that opened up at Springline in Menlo Park. Itâs a really nicely designed space, with an elaborate ceiling crafted with curved wood beams and lights. The coffee is solid. I tried their house special âThe Original Birdâ, which has espresso on ice, soda water, topped with a house made whipped cream. Itâs cool and refreshing, just enough sweetness. I also tried some of their âWind & Sea Blendâ drip coffee, which is pretty good for a drip stored in a big container. They donât have pour over which was a mild surprise.
I also tried their breakfast sandwich, which is thick toasted bread with ham, bacon, and an egg with runny yolk. Itâs a bit oily and messy, but overall another solid menu item.
Indoors, they have a communal table with 4 stools and a curved bench for around 4-6 indoors and another 4 tables or so outside. When it gets busy there would probably not be anywhere to sit. Itâs a nice spot, always great to find another quality coffee roaster with a...
Read moreAT LAST!! I came in here about a month ago while it was under construction trying to deliver food for door dash. I was âgreetedâ with a loud âNOPEâ by a Dusty Slay lookalike with long hair and a big mustache. He was extremely rude to me. I asked him if I had the wrong building to which he replied âDonât care, leave it at the doorâ I asked him why he was being so rude and apparently I was the 20th person to have done this that day. I get how that could be frustrating but a simple sign on the door would alleviate that problem.
Now, finally, after a month and a bad review left by mistake at Canteen Coffee (which is a wonderful establishment you should check out) I get to leave, not only your first review, but I get to deliver the first 1 star this business will receive because your employee underestimated how petty a random person could be while visiting the store under construction. Although this review is satisfying I do feel bad for the owner because they donât deserve this before having the chance to actually open. I hope everyone elseâs experience is...
Read moreAndytown Coffee in Menlo Park is such a cool find. You can feel the attention to detail the moment you walk inâfrom their separate manual setup just for single origin coffee to the smooth, flavorful medium roast used in my flat white. The latte art (yes, even on a to-go cup) was a nice touch, and the baristas were genuinely kind, talented, and clearly love what they do.
The vibe is modern, clean, and relaxedâperfect for a quick stop or a sit-and-sip moment. Theyâve got a decent selection of breakfast sandwiches tooânothing mind-blowing, but solid if youâre hungry. Will come back for pastries and single origin.
All in all, a spot that gets coffee right and makes you want...
