Great Service Horrible Experience
On the night of 11/16/2021 at 4:59pm at night I purchased a coffee at the Meredith Dunkin Facility (55 NH-25, Meredith, NH 03253). I purchased a Large Iced French Vanilla Coffee Extra Extra Liquid Sugar. The total amount for this drink is $3.35 USD. I received a notification that the location had billed me an additional two times for the one order. I found this out around their closing time at 7:56pm. I arrived and spoke to the employees as they seemed confused when I showed them my bank statement. They were shocked. The one employee apologized as he knows I'm a regular at this location. The employee asked if I could come in and settle this matter. The associate Adian was amazing in his customer service skills and asked for further assistance from another associate Angelo. Both associates were amazing as normal at making sure my needs were met and my expectations exceeded. About 45 minutes have gone by with both employees looking in their system to make sure no other charges were made. They only found one purchase that day and that was my original purchase. Both employees attempted everything possible to credit me back the money to my account. One of the employees called their manager to get instructions to refund money back. The manager of this location, Melany told the employees to have the customer come back later and that she was not going to deal with this at the moment. When the employee put his head down and said I'm sorry sir I know then and there I would go to the bank to dispute the charge. Based on my experience I have gathered that the managers simply don't care and the employees are not fully equipped or trained to be able to tackle situations. Amazing 10/10 customer service from all the employees. One of the most major things I have noticed is every Dunkin facility has a Little screen that says your price upon purchase at the drive thru. There is no little screen and it looks like it was ripped out and never replaced making the building look horrible in that one spot. Most playing and joking. The kid who took the order and a girl who was working on the register side where the only professional ones.the rest kept joking, playing and even throwing food at each other. Which is fine if that's the culture but this caused a simple order to take so long and I was the only one inside if the store. The line was very short outside too so no excuse. They must of spent 5 minutes asking each other who wrote hakuna matada on a cup. Behind the counter was a mess, trash all over the floor, mop bucket in the middle of floor under the creamer looked like it exploded pure chaos. When we finally received our order we double checked it and noticed they forgot to give me my cream cheese for my bagel. I asked Chris for the cream cheese that they forgot. Chris grabbed a cream cheese from the fridge and whipped across the counter where it hit me and fell to the floor. He wasn't even going to apologize until my husband had to say something to him.
