Friday nite. Omw home. Wanted to get home quickly, so the food is still warm for my fam & this is the closest location, bout 15-20 min drive from where I live. I ordered the 2 Mcdoubles for $3.99 deal twice, meaning I need two of them. I could see how it might get easily misunderstood. So, just in case there wasn't ANY confusion, I say SPECIFICALLY, that means I need "FOUR Mcdoubles ALTOGETHER!" And I repeat again, "So I need 2 of the same deal." meaning, "4 Mcdoubles." That means I clarified it 3 times when I ordered. I pay at the 1st window & I get to the 2nd window & I bet you can guess what they had for me...that's right....only 2 Mcdoubles. I say, "ok. Even though I made it clear 3 times. No problem. Just add 2 more." The manager comes to the window & says "Do you have cash? I said, "No. I used my card." She says, "The card reader is at the other window, you'll have to go around again." Normally you ask for a manager, to receive better service or to make things right. Not here. She couldn't be bothered to walk 10 steps to tap my card & forced me to drive around & wait in a LONG @$$ line AGAIN, when they screwed up, NOT me. So THEY make the mistake & instead of making it right & going out of their way to fix it, they make me go out of my way and I suffer for it. So, exactly what I was trying to avoid, which was not have any issues & allow myself to get home quickly, is exactly what happened. And now, instead, I end up with half the food cold & half the food warm. I also thought, maybe I'm losing my mind & that's not what I said, so I checked my dash-cam video & listened to the audio, just to hear that. that is exactly what I said. This place is a joke. Go to burger King. Go to Wendy's. Go to Taco Bell. They are all next door. And just to add a little more aggravation to this debacle: One of the employees at one of the windows was so heavily saturated in cologne or perfume, that my car was blanketed & inundated by it's overuse. I couldn't air my car out enough to remove the overwhelming chemical-based aroma that had somehow transferred to my vehicle. Not to mention, that is definitely not something you want to breathe in, whilst trying to eat. It reminded of any individual that might use perfume/cologne on top of more on top more on top of more. When I got home, my GF thought I was having an affair. I said, "no dear, it's not perfume from another woman, it was just an employee at McDonalds." Thankfully, she knew I wasn't kidding, because of how pissed off I was from them screwing up my order & ruining our dinner. Besides fixing the service, they also need to have a talk with employees about hygiene. Never going back. And whoever reads this would be wise to as well. Read moreworst service ever.. went through the drive thru at about 4 am after placing and paying for my order through online app. Never was there a warning or anything stating they were having an issue with the service or anything. No sign or anything so of course customers feel its ok to place the order normally. so i pull up to speaker to give my code to girl on drive thru.. she comes on and asks if im paying cash i said no i placed my order online and i have the code. She then says i dont know what to tell you but our systems are down and unless you are paying cash we cant do anything.. I then ask to speak to the manager and im told the manager is too busy and wont talk to anyone. I ask for my money back and get there is nothing we can do... I then ask for a number for the location owner and nothing. I ask for a number for customer complaints and im told to pull up to 2nd window.. I ask again to speak to the manager whos name was Todora and im told she is too busy fixing the system and she is not going to come speak to a customer.. I then told them i want my refund or i will be calling the police.. Still no Todora in sight... So now heres the kicker, i pull away to call the police and all of a sudden my phone sounds and its my refund of money i paid from my card but lost 6000 points i had from app... Be wary of placing orders at night through the McDonalds app at East Main St location because if something goes wrong they wont care about you as a customer or getting your money back to you and the manager Todora will not waste her time coming to talk to you for any reason, she will make regular employees speak to you for her and pass messages to you but never show her face... Owner of location or District manager need to get in touch with me because this person they have as a manager has no business having...
Read moreThis is a review about a corporate franchise. I’m not going to tell you. It’s a five star restaurant. I’m going to read it versus other McDonald’s franchise locations. It’s the best within 30 miles. Period. I deliver for Uber eats and GrubHub and I’ve been to them all. This location is a top-notch McDonald’s. The owner has hired plenty of staff. They have two lanes going, and even with five cars in each lane, your wait won’t be long. With operations like McDonald’s it’s all about accuracy and speed. Since McDonald’s has everything, automated in terms of cooking, the employees job is basically assembly, and speed. Are usually count more than 20 employees that I can see. I also order every day for myself from the drive-through, and of course, all day I deliver. The day deliveries are picked up inside the store, so I get an excellent view of the operation. Late night my pick ups are at the drive-through, and it doesn’t matter time of day, everything is efficient. Also, unlike other McDonald’s in the area, it’s high school kids and families.
