I showed up here just a few minutes before closing on 3/25. We're from Twin Falls, and do not have a Del Taco in town but LOVE the greatness that IS Del Taco. So, we were staying at the Courtyard Marriott just across the freeway, a few minutes away from this location. I ventured to secure us Del Taco greatness around 11:30 (they close at midnight). The moment I completed my drive-thru order at the speaker, the gentleman who took me order apologized in advance for the "delay." First, there wasn't really a delay at all. He said it was due to short staffing, which is EVERYBODY'S problem right now. I was at the window picking up food in 2 or 3 minutes. As soon as they passed me the bag, I went back to the hotel. Upon arrival, I realized that they had forgot two chicken chipotle rollers and a bean & cheese burrito. So, I called. Before I could even get more than a few words out, the gentleman (who I believe to be the manager) said "Yeah, we forgot the two rollers and a burrito, right?" I said "YES! Might you still have them!?" He said "No, but what I CAN do is give you a credit for a full meal in the future... is that OK?" I said "Actually we don't live here, so I don't think that's gonna work." And, to my surprise, he said "Aight, can you be back here in 10 minutes or so? I'll just remake it for you." I pulled back through the drive through (mind you, this is probably 12:15 or so, well after they've closed.) This dude was WAITING for me at the drive-thru window and FIRST offered me a couple of free churros and donuts. THEN, gave me a free beverage. And THEN, remade the few things they forgot. So, to summarize, mistakes totally happen... ESPECIALLY today, when it's impossible to find help. But, for this guy to go the extra mile, never complain about my request ONCE, and to just make the replacements happen, all while smiling and apologizing at the same time? This dude deserves a raise. I wish I had his name. But, dude's a rockstar... and TOTALLY made my night and left me understanding that the next time we venture to Boise (Meridian), the ONLY Del Taco I'm going to is the one that this guy is working at. I hope he's in charge of the place. Because, as a manager myself, rock solid people are hard to come by... but THIS dude? ABSOLUTELY rock solid. I'd hire him in a heartbeat. So anyways, that probably went on too long... BUT, FIVE AND A HALF STARS.... and THANK you, dude. And while sure, initially it was your store's mistake, it was just a few minutes away... and, it's the little things that count. And you totally knocked it out of the park. Thank...

Read moreThis Del Taco has disappointed me before. But I've been extra disappointed these past few days. My mom has stage 4 cancer. She's in the hospital. On Friday, she went to the ER. My brother and I stayed with her and sent his boyfriend and our other brother to get us food because we hadn't eaten. Apparently the people working were super rude, and kept cutting them off when they were trying to order. Then after getting their food, the girl at the window cut my brother off and slammed the window on him when he was trying to ask for hot sauce. Tonight, I went to get my mom a taco salad. She hasn't really been able to eat, and that's the only thing that sounded good to her. I ordered the carne asada taco salad with guac, and when I brought it to her, I realized it didn't have guac. Also, when the girl working handed me the food, she didn't even look at me or say anything, and immediately closed the window when I grabbed it. Our family has been having a really hard time lately, and it just really sucks when even just trying to get food is a...
