Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Meridian

No Longer Ordering From This Store / Pizza Hut. I have recently been ordering Pizza Hut to try something different and it’s been a nice change from some other chains. I have ordered to the same address the whole time. This last experience has left me wasting my time with an employee calling me a liar. I called in because my order which was placed at 7:48pm, wasn’t “picked up by 3rd party driver” until 8:37pm. Finally called again at 9:24pm, they apologized I was very patient. Whether it was a refund or they just got the food delivered I was fine to wait we came to the conclusion door dash mush have lose the food or delivered to the wrong place. (I’ll not I’ve used the same address through the app which it’s automatically saved so it hasn’t changed and always gotten my food). They sent the actual Pizza Hut delivery driver to my house and I didn’t receive a call till 10:03 that he claimed to have waiting outside my apartment knocking. Me and my roomate have been home waiting and present regularly checking the front door waiting. At this point I am no longer hungry and just frustrated. Nonetheless if they went to the wrong spot or there was some error I was ok with that I can understand it’s dark outside and might be hard to find the right spot but then the “shift lead” gives the phone to the driver and he attacks me and says he waited outside and says I wouldn’t come out to collect my food. Says I just want to get more food for free. (It was literally just 2 orders of breadsticks). Previously on the phone I was ok with a refund because it’s late and I was no longer hungry but it seemed like because of them using the door dash driver that it would be a hassle and complicated process to issue a refund so I was okay with the remake and delivery. Now I’m sitting in my living room like an idiot and it’s been over 2 and a half hours no food and I’m being called a liar with a deliver driver getting frustrated with me when I am just tying to get my breadsticks or a refund because I’ve been more than patient and understanding. I will not deal with this again I’ll go with the dominos that never seems to get my order wrong or delivered late / having to use 3rd...

I don't order here that often and a recent order reminded me of exactly why... Points expire after 6 months. So, if you like to order "once in a while" - they'll probably be expired. This is all about trying to make you order more often, probably. But it really is just annoying. Their prices aren't really competitive. I paid $40 for 2 mediums and some cheese sticks. This also included using a "deal". So, it would have been even more pricey without the deal. Checking a couple of other places, it seems I can get a similar order, except large pizzas, for the same price. One was also via a deal and the other was just by picking their cheaper predefined options. Their website design is junk or they just link to penny-pinch their customers. The deal I used was 2 medium specialties or 5-topping pizzas for $19.99. However, if you try to order a 2-topping specialty and add a topping to this, the system charges you extra. Why? This is still under the 5 toppings. Why can't extra cheese count as part of those 5 toppings, either? They charge you $4.50 for delivery...and they don't even deliver it themselves anymore (Doordash does). Along with delivery fee is the tip... And then Doordash doesn't even bother to read their delivery instructions. The pizza itself didn't even taste that great. In addition to that, my order wasn't even done correctly. My margherita was missing the basil/pesto part of it. So, I basically got a tomato and cheese pizza. Well, along with some garlic. The cheese sticks come with this little sample sized sauce. As a comparison, the sauce you get with Lil Caesar's sticks is vastly larger. Just seems like more penny-pinching. But at least they are still giving you real pizza sauce instead of some prepackaged stuff with a peel-off lid like you'd get at some fast food place. It seemed like Pizza Hut was more of a premium place at one time, perhaps, a long time ago. Maybe the premium is just...

Extremely pleased with the customer service! We originally walked into a pizza buffet down the street and after a quick glance at the pizzas they had on display, turned around and walked out. Went down the street a little further and decided to try pizza hut. We ordered pizza and wings and the wings were brought out quickly and very tasty. A few minutes later the pizza came out and as the young lady placed the pizza on our table, she noticed one of the ingredients wasn't right and offered to bring us another one for free. To be honest, I probably wouldn't have even noticed if she hadn't pointed it out. I didn't want them to go through the trouble of making another pizza for us especially since we were the only ones in the store, so they discounted the pizza and we left very happy. The wings and pizza were both delicious and far better than I was expecting. We'll be going here for our pizzas...
