Last week, I called in and talked to Lauren, about sending out 2 plants to the governors office and Idaho department of correction. I spent a nice sum of money to tell these two individuals, that I was very pleased with the service they provided. Lauren was amazing in helping me get my order placed and typing up the "great message" send to them. However, unfortunately the card attached to the plant did not have who the gift was from. Ok so things happen, not that big of a deal. Now when I called Meridian Florist and talked to Terace (the assistant manager) about the problem..... That is when it got bad, no horrific. I tried telling her many times my name and she could not hear me (music was really loud in the back ground). She kept telling me it was my phone and that "my voice was muffled". I finally got to tell her what the governor's office had told me about the card not being signed. Terace's response was, well everything but straight up telling me that that both offices were idiots and keep referring to how the attached card folds up and that "if somebody would have looked on the third fold the name would have been right there". Well, I let her know in a nice way that neither of these professional offices employ idiots. She then went on to be even more combative and Never once did she offer up a solution. I DID NOT WANT MY MONEY BACK NOR did she offer an apology for what ever part that Meridian Floral may have be a fault for. She informed me if "you want to wait for a week I can have my owners call you back." really all she would have needed to say was .... ie.... I am sorry I will send out an apology to the offices involved or JUST I AM SORRY and thank you for letting us know" That would have been a great way to "HEAR what was the problem. ... not everybody else was ignorant and Meridian Floral was not to blame.... I don't normally EVER write reviews, but Terace was so combative right off the bat and blaming my replicants for not being smart enough to look in the right place for the name of the gifter, that it burned me to my soul. Who does that in a family business, I took my business from 1-800-Flowers for this kind of treatment? I am very sorry to the owners for this happening, but Tarace is your assistant manager....
Read moreToday I ordered an expensive floral arrangement to be delivered. The person’s father had died this weekend. I selected a time I knew she would be home. She laid down to rest ...she didn’t get the message until tonight and the voice mail said that “if she wanted the flowers she would need to come pick them up”. I couldn’t believe such terrible customer service.
$25 was a delivery fee which I believe was outrageous .. and then she didn’t even get the flowers we sent! She is dealing with the death of her father and caring for her 2 young children... she certainly does not need to go pick up her own sympathy flowers!
Why wouldn’t they have called me (the person ordering) that there was an issue and the flowers weren’t delivered and that they had the audacity to tell the grieving person to come pick them up! Shameful. We all long time Eagle residents but will never use MERIDIAN FLORAL ever again.

UPDATE to my above very unsatisfactory experience with Meridian Floral. They did credit back to me the cost of the flowers, however, they did charge me the $25 delivery charge even though no flowers were ever received. I tried to call them ... no voice mail set up, tried to email them, but their site accepts no emails. Those options gone, I personally drive to Meridian Floral and spoke with the owner. No they would not refund the $25 delivery charge even though our family member didn’t receive her flowers. Next time you need flowers sent, you’d be wise to not choose this florist. I’m from Idaho and use to people being fair in business and working out a problem. They were unsatisfactory in every way possible and showed no compassionate or feeling when a family was dealing with the loss of a loved one. Doubly Disappointed...

The customer service was great, my fiance and I were very happy with this company before the wedding. BUT THEN when they delivered the flowers for the wedding the day before, every single flower was awful and unusable. Every bouquet, boutonnierre, corsage. The worst flowers we have ever seen. They were brown, wilting, dying, shriveled. I paid $150 for my bridal bouquet and it looked like someone dragged wildflowers through mud and then waiting 5 days before wrapping it in a bundle. We had to go to the grocery store to buy flowers and make 5 bouquets, 11 boutonnierres and 2 corsages. When we tried to contact the store, they said they would call me back and NEVER did. When emailed the company all they did was defend all the places they got their flowers from and then even BLAMED ME for not calling enough contact numbers the night before the wedding. Even when we sent over documented pictures of the dying useless flowers. Was a HORRIBLE experience, absolutely ruined my last night before my wedding. I could not be more disappointed with the way they treated me as a customer and bride. Over $500 completely...
