My husband and daughter enjoyed strawberry and chocolate brownie. I planned on having the dairy free option. However, I changed my mind because everything was in PLASTIC. I hate plastic because of links to causing my autoimmune illness but mostly for our children and grandchildren's future. I asked if there alternatives to the plastic cups. No. I asked if they had recycling. No. The sheer amount of plastic trash that they are creating is suffocating to think about and irresponsible to our planet. No, thank you. I suggest the owners look at alternative packaging, like the kind that we used for decades before toxic plastics. Mother Earth and our grandkids would thank you too!! š We all have to do our part and accept responsibility for how we hurt or help their future. I suggest unpackaged.com for better packaging ideas, or allowing us to bring our own reusable Betty Rae container, of some sort, like Soap or Less or other zero waste stores sell for their customers. We can all do better if we care what kind of world we are leaving our grandchildren. I will be back when I hear you join those of us who care and are working to make those...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were excited to have one near us but this location is nothing like the others. I've been in a few times and there's always a couple of ice creams that are melting. I understand that it may be due to the doors staying open when customers form a line. I've asked customers to please shut the door. The workers should also make sure this is happening and put up signs. If it's due to something else, they really need to look into this because there's no way this is safe. When we are helped, they have different rules on what types of scoops you can get, depending on who is on staff that day. For example, I wanted 2 kids scoops in one cup instead of 2 large scoops. They have done it before, so when I've asked, depending on who's on staff, they either look at me like they're malfunctioning, or will put one scoop in one cup and another in another cup. I then proceeded to put one of the scoops in the other cup so I don't have two cups. It's wasteful and not difficult to do this. I'm very confused with the whole establishment. The one on Waldo and downtown KC are the best. There's always a line, but there's a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame here on a Saturday in July and to start off they were very understaffed. There was only one person working but we were meeting family from out of town while taking a break from the hospital down the street, so we waited in line. While waiting a customer asked the single employee for more paper towels for the bathroom, so they clearly hadnāt been checked or cleaned recently. Meanwhile the group in front of us was a coach buying ice cream for a basketball team and the other half of the team ended up behind us in line. When the group in front of us was done ordering the coach informed the employee that she wanted to pay for the group behind us as well. Instead of doing two transactions, the employee called up the large group behind us to order completely ignoring the fact that weād been waiting. He did not acknowledge us at all and we found it incredibly rude. Rather than cause a scene we decided to leave. We were incredibly disappointed and have not had this poor quality service at...
