Chupacabra Taproom is hands down one of my favorite spots in Downtown Mesa! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable owners and staff, who always have great recommendations from their impressive selection of 30+ beers on tap.

The atmosphere is unbeatable—set in a historic building with exposed brick and rustic charm, it perfectly blends character with comfort. The large patio is a huge plus, offering shade and misters to keep things cool in the summer and heaters for those chilly winter nights. The vibe here is always relaxed, with a great mix of patrons that make it a fun and laid-back place to hang out.

Another highlight? The rotating lineup of food trucks brings fantastic dining options with great drinks. Whether you’re a craft beer enthusiast or just looking for a welcoming place to unwind, Chupacabra Taproom never disappoints. I highly recommend...

Went here on 3 different occasions while visiting family. Every time we had a different bar tender and all 3 times were met with condescending attitudes.

The first 2 times we thought were just off nights, but the 3rd time made us realize that being a pretentious jerk must be a prerequisite to employment here.

The atmosphere is what you'd expect, typical hipster vibe with tired and overdone "funky" decor that you see at any other taphouse or brewery.

2 stars for the outside area which is truly the only redeeming quality of this place.

Amazing new taproom in Mesa. Not only is the beer and wine selection second to none, but it's an awesome building and chill vibe too. They have a great selection of beers, especially if you love IPAs. Lot's of other great choices too for those who like lighter and more approachable beers. Good selection of wine too, definitely something for everyone. Owners and staff are really friendly, approachable and make you feel at home.
