I recently visited a shop owned by Lacey, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. From the moment my family and I walked in, Lacey's demeanor was unfriendly and dismissive. She was particularly rude to my sister about her daughter playing with dolls that were on the bottom shelf, which was surrounded by other toys. It felt unnecessary and harsh, especially since kids naturally gravitate towards toys.

When Lacey approached us to address the situation, her response was perplexing. Instead of offering a friendly reminder or guidance, she simply expressed her frustration about how she would handle cleaning the toys. This left us baffled—if toys are offered for play, why wouldn’t they be easily cleanable? Furthermore, the toys didn’t even appear dirty, which made her comments seem even more unreasonable.

To add to the confusion, there were no signs indicating that touching the toys was prohibited. Given the environment, it felt uninviting and unwelcoming, especially for families looking to enjoy their time together.

To make matters worse, when I let Lacey know I was ready to check out, she turned away from me and left me standing at the counter for about 10 minutes. It was incredibly frustrating, and in hindsight, I should have just walked out. The overall vibe of the shop was disappointing, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it for those visiting downtown Mesa or looking to share a pleasant experience with family. We stumbled upon this boutique while checking out Gus’s World Famous Chicken in downtown Mesa. I was drawn in by all the cute gift items. I was pleasantly surprised to see the clothing was size inclusive. Sizes xs-3x in cute, current styles. The owner is wonderful and helped us find all kids of fun stuff.
