I've had great experiences at the location’s predecessor, Sonoran Moon Vintage. However, a majority of the reviews do not reflect Meat Market Vintage Goods, the shop that has taken location when Sonoran Moon Vintage unfortunately went out of business.

The curation of vintage apparel is great, definitely more geared towards men’s apparel and the prices are a bit high, however this is a curated vintage shop. I have nothing against the shop itself, however I have not enjoyed the environment within the shop. This shop gets its fair share of vintage cult-following teenage boys, understandably with current trends and the items within the shop. I've overheard numerous conversations from such boys talk in degrading ways about women, especially more so uncomfortable being the only woman in the shop at the time. The employee in the shop in one instance, some college-aged guy, heard and added into the conversation. It was incredibly disappointing as a shopper and a woman, to see no accountability in making the environment feel safer and friendlier from someone that had the power to do so.

I love vintage and am always on the lookout for vintage shops in the area, however, as a young women, this is not a shop that I feel welcome in and not one I can recommend to my friends. I sincerely hope the owners can work on creating a more welcoming environment for all, after all, vintage is...

This is such a jewel of a treasure shop in downtown Mesa AZ. There are so many fun and quirky clothes, household items, jewelry and accessories. There are lots of mens clothes mixed in so don’t assume this is a shop just for the women. The staff are great to work with and will even be on the look out for pieces they don’t have but you want, just give them your special request and the hunt begins! It’s nestled between a tattoo shop and a coffee shop with other restaurants, bars and shops close by. It’s worth the trip if you don’t live close by and worth a weekly visit if you live in the area. Hands down best vintage shop I’ve ever been to. They’ve got everything! It’s like a candy store for adults looking for vintage clothing. They have sooo many options, you wont be able to walk out with 1 item, and if you do, you’ll definitely want to come back for more. The staff was really helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable about the clothing they have. they could almost give you a history lesson about what year they came out, how authentic they are, and how popular they were during those times.
