I have been a renter at over 10 different apartments and homes. This has been my worst experience renting yet. Management is extremely poor, unprofessional, and deceptive. Upon agreeing to a 12 month lease in my application, I was given a contract for 15 months and asked to sign. I looked at it carefully and noticed the discrepancy and had it fixed. This could have been a costly error. Upon moving in, the apartment wasn’t cleaned. I had to wash the tile floor 7 times to get the black film off it. The window frames were covered in black dust. There were over 20 holes in the walls that hadn’t been fixed. Cabinets were falling apart, etc. This showed a very poor effort from management to prepare their apartments properly for move-in. While living there, cockroaches were an every week battle despite my apartment being kept in perfectly clean conditions. This is the only apartment I have stayed at with a constant roach problem. Trash is a constant issue around the apartment complex. The tenants don’t do their part to keep the place clean and management is very slow to clean up the place. For example, one pool at the community is regularly unusable due to trash being left in the pool by tenants and not cleaned up by management. The laundry machines are typically broken and rarely fixed. They need replaced or fixed properly. The irrigation system malfunctioned for over a month spraying water 10 ft in the air next to the child’s playground area and leaving mud all around. The apartments do NOT have screens on the windows so you have no chance to get fresh air without having bugs, bees, and flies come in. The security gates are supposed to close in the evenings, but 80-90% of the time the gate is left open all night. This is not a safe community. The security guard hired is more for policing you as a resident than keeping the community safe. He is very rude. Have you ever tried to call their office phone? I’ve called over 50 times over the course of my stay there and NEVER had my call answered. Zero customer service. The list of things can go on and on. I had several problems with my move-out inspection too. I had scheduled to arrange it in person, but when I came for my inspection appointment I was told that it didn’t get scheduled properly and I would have to come back another time. After finally having the inspection, I was told that everyone is charged a flat fee for professional cleaning. Despite the fact that I had spent a week cleaning the apartment to leave it in near professionally-cleaned condition. This is the first time I have ever not received a full reimbursement of my security deposit! I was told that it is standard policy to charge the cleaning fee, no matter how clean it is! This practice doesn’t seem legal to me and nearly no other apartment management company does this. When completing my move-out inspection, I was given a post-it note with the fees they would charge scribbled on it. Was this supposed to be my documentation? That was very unprofessional. Don’t expect to get your security deposit back in full, if at all, if you stay here. Overall, very disappointing renting experience. Save yourself the trouble and...
Read moreI had made my initial order at 7:55pm, with the estimated time being 35-45 minutes. I waited until 8:50 and saw the tracker said they were double checking my pizza still, it had been like this for the last thirty minutes. I called and was put on hold for ten minutes, called again and the same thing occurred. At this point I decided to drive to the domino's and just pick up my pizza. When I got there I found out that had my order on the books but had made nothing and lost it completely. So I was offered extra parmesan bites and told my pizza would be out in 15 minutes. So I waited in the store for the pizza. A half hour passes, so it is 9:45 by this point and I am then asked by a driver that just returned if I had been helped yet, I told him I had and he look up my order and went to check the status of it. Another associated returned and told me that my pizzas had not been put in the oven yet and apologized. I told him it was okay and asked if I could just get my delivery fee back since I am picking up the pizza and they are so late on the pizza, this must have been the wrong question. He told that would not be possible and I should just go home. I was a little taken aback, so he told me to grab a two liter and head home and wait for my driver. I am just fed up at this point and know I should take it out on the employees for the lack of coordination by management. I head home and do receive my pizza, but only after another 40 minutes, so in conclusion I am disappointed and will never order from that dominos again. if a restaurant cant even keep track of orders or give a reasonable refund of four dollars for a delivery fee because the customer had to drive to the store, I don't feel like they have much control of the...
Read moreI hate reviewing places poorly, but this is absurd. I ordered a pizza online, it said it would be there in 30-40 minutes. I get the notification it came out of the oven 25 minutes after ordering. And then I sat, pizzaless, for an additional hour. As I write this, I am still waiting for my pizza. It's been 90 minutes. I called the store and sat on hold for 30 minutes. Nobody answered. I'm about to drive there myself and tell them to forget it and refund me or I'll have to dispute the charge. Best of all, this location is less than a mile from my house. I could have walked there and made the pizza myself, then walked back, and saved myself the trouble. The worst is that I can't even call them becuase nobody picks up the phone. I hope the place is burning down or something, because I can't think of any reason I wouldn't be able to call them. Have I been scammed? Because I'm out thirty bucks.
Edit: okay, crisis adverted. Pizza showed up literally as I was walking to my car. It was still an hour after the estimated time, though, and 95 minutes after ordering. Everything was correct and warm(ish), so it was edible and they can get a star back. Still, I expect a call when someone is running that far behind, or at least someone to answer the phones so I know I haven't been scammed. Like I said, I hate reviewing poorly, so I'll give them two stars becuase it wasn't a literal scam (although I was worried for an hour there) and...
