Beyond Frustration: A Pattern of Disregard at the Drive-Thru
My recent encounters at this particular drive-thru have spiraled from frustrating to outright appalling, revealing a disturbing pattern of customer disregard and a complete breakdown in service. Not long ago, I found myself waiting at the speaker for a full five agonizing minutes, enduring an eerie silence. Despite repeated "hellos," there was no greeting, no acknowledgment – simply straight-up ignored. The experience was, in a word, horrible. However, the absolute nadir occurred on August 28, 2025. On this occasion, my girlfriend encountered an exceptionally rude drive-thru attendant. After being made to awkwardly reach far into the window for her order, she was then abruptly told to back up her car without any explanation. Confused and feeling entirely disrespected, she made the difficult decision to simply drive away, leaving behind an order she had already paid for. Attempting to rectify the situation, I immediately called the restaurant, only to be met with ceaseless ringing and no answer. A subsequent call saw someone pick up the line only to instantly hang up, a final, infuriating act of dismissal. It's clear that this establishment has a systemic issue with its drive-thru operations and customer service. What began as an isolated instance of being ignored has escalated into an experience involving rudeness, theft of paid goods, and an outright refusal to address concerns. This isn't just bad service; it's a profound disrespect for patrons that demands immediate and thorough...
Read moreThis jack in the box has something wrong with it EVERY TIME I try and go to order food from there. The last time we went it was 6pm and their lobby was closed. They said it was because they were short staffed. We walked there so we couldn't get food from the drive through. Ok fine, they were short staffed. The next few times after that their excuses ranged from they couldn't give us any shakes due to machine being down/cleaned, they were only accepting card payments, they were only accepting cash payments and that they were too backed up with orders so we were going to have to wait for long wait times. Tonight, however, we go and they said they couldn't take out order because they were ONLY taking Mobile Orders. So they couldn't just push my order into their screen and take my money as I was there as they were waiting for more mobile orders to come pick up their food? Like really?
I worked for Jack in the box years ago and I knew a couple workers who would lie to cars to get them to just leave.
I'm just over going there and having an issue each time. I never make a fuss because I try to be understanding but it's to the point that I have to come to the realization that they more than likely have bad employees who don't want to work or they have bad managers who can't manage a store. Either way jack in the box loses money one...
Read moreDid an online order and picked up through drive thru. When I got home which is 2 minutes away I didn't receive 2of the items so I went back with my daughter. I went through drive thru again and the young man who had helped me remembered and told me to pull through. When I got to the window a young woman was there I told her what had happened and she said ok walked back to the cook JENNY, while leaving the window open. As the cashier walked back to the window she said in spainsh while laughing "maybe she ate them and wanted more" not knowing I understood her. She said one minute in English I said ok and let it go. When she finally gave me the bag I noticed it only had one of the 2 missing items, I told the young woman and she looked confused asked the young man and he said yes I said 2 that is when JENNY yelled two!? Are you kidding? He said no I said 2. As the first young woman walked to the window I said in spainsh of course I want them I paid for them. She looked shocked now knowing I understood that they were making fun of me for the missing food. So I would avoid coming here. I've been coming here all my life and have never felt so...
