Renegade Coffee Company — Restaurant in Mesa

This coffee shop was very cute! The coffee and tea options were amazing. I got a London Fog and my partner got a hot Carmel Macchiato. We mostly were looking for a place to get cafe food though, and I gotta say we didn't too much care for their eggs, or potatoes. They were super super bland and didn't taste like much. We had to add a ton of salt and pepper from the little packets they provide. Their broccoli cheddar, soup of the day, was also lacking a lot of flavor. It was more of just a broccoli soup. Wasn't very cheddar tasting at all, but it was okay anyway. I will say the avocado toast was good, but I didn't like the lemon on it as I usually add lime. That's all down to preference though. If I had known lemon was added to it prior I would have asked for it without. Overall, this place is GOOD. Just not great in the food department. Perhaps there are other options that are more flavorful, and I would come back and try something else based solely on how yummy the drinks were! The staff were friendly, and they looked like they had a lot on their plate. Any questions we had were answered and they all were very polite and had very great customer service. Went in per usual for my morning cup of coffee, large iced caramel macchiato a couple extra shots and extra sweet. But this morning a very short latino girl was at the counter, no hi? No good morning nothing, just a nasty glare. She didn't even ask.What can I get started for you or anything in regards to that. So there's just that awkward moment of are you ready to take my order? How do I initiate this interaction? Because you're failing to do so. told her my order and she charges me everything correctly but doesn't make my drink correctly. No extra shots and as bitter as her personality. Not the first time I've had the misfortune of interacting with this amalgamation of disappointment and spite. Her customer service sucks. Her attitude sucks and her preparation of drinks suck. Anytime I've interacted with anybody else. It's always been a pleasure, she just sucks. For that reason I don't want to go here anymore. I'm not getting what I pay for let alone a "good morning"

Do you need more experience with customer service? Do you need better/ training? If you're having an off day, maybe you shouldn't come into work Where you interact with people or asked to be put at the back...

Normally I have an excellent experience here every single time. But this last one just went the wrong way.New kid process the transaction and essentially, instead of giving me what I order every single time like clockwork, a caramel macchiato, extra sweet iced he was gone for like 5 or 10 minutes. And came back with a cup of milk with some caramel drizzle on the side, not to mention the cup, was leaking and couldn't remake it, save his life. I paid ten dollars for a cup of milk, couldn't even get somebody else to remake it. Like I said, normally every single time it's flawless, but the new kid with the soul patch on his chin just absolutely butchered it. Everybody else there absolutely amazing on point, i hope later on down the road. I get to change this review to a five star, but when I get rushed out the door with a drink that I don't want that. I paid ten dollars for. This is how I like to start my day coming here every single day.
