****October 2023 special!**** - $27.99 per adult vs $35.99 for the month of October! Love the variety of this place! All you can eat meats from lamb, pork belly, beef belly, and more! Vegetable bar for all your soup needs and all the sauces you can think of that you normally put in soup are offered. I love the Ramen shelf if you like to add some noodles to your shabu shabu. They also have halibut, talapia, and salmon options to add to your soup. Danny was our server and a few times in the past as well. Amazing customer service every time and makes sure that your table is cleared off of empty plates and your water jug is full. Down to earth guy and very helpful if you have any questions. There is a good amount of soup base and if you love spicy foods like I do and think you can handle the heat, I recommend getting the Mala Spicy soup base! It has a good kick to it! House spicy is not bad but to me it was more of a mild spicy. Same goes for the Tom Yum even though it has a spicy pepper symbol next to it. I noticed they added more desserts since the last time I was here. They have your usual oreo cheesecake, chocolate cake and ice cream on a popsicle stick. They added whole red apples and Rice Krispy treats where the fruits section is at. I also noticed they added "Chinese Donuts" which if you are Chinese, they are those long bread sticks you eat with your porridge or "Juk" usually for me anyway growing up. Although that would be awesome if they offered "Juk" or porridge. I'd be down for that since they offer rice, Ramen, glass noodles, and sushi. The place is always clean and the food is always fresh. I highly recommend this place if you are trying shabu shabu for the first time and you are in the Mesa area. It is not too far from the Mekong Plaza. There is plenty of free parking and they are located in between an international market and a dessert store. Dinner rush can be a full house and expect a wait time depending which day you go but if it is full, don't forget to put your name on the sign up sheet and make sure there is not another party with the same name and same amount of people in your party. Lastly, enjoy your shabu shabu experience! Side note: I love the Enzo circle in their logo. Just a personal mention that I noticed 😀

Your seated at a table when you arrive. They ask your drink preference, I stuck with water due to soda being $2.00 a can, and take your soup base and meat orders then if you know them. They'll come back if you need a minute. You can switch soup bases for $1.00 if you truly don't like the one you chose. While waiting for that to arrive I grabbed a plate from the end of the aisle and went down the buffet line of additions. It was very well stocked and the selection was excellent. I stuck with small samplings of things I wasn't familiar with or just wanted to try. Like firm fishcake and kimchi as well as a few new vegetables. They have a $5.99 charge for excessive food waste so I made sure that wouldn't be an issue. The sauce is a must as the meat isn't seasoned. It's a nicely thin cut strip that cooks quickly. I tried a ponzo (?) Sauce that was too sweet and I ended up mixing a little soy sauce in. It was surprisingly good and I could dip everything in it. I didn't get any of the add on meats that had a charge this time. Like the $19.99 lobster tale. Or the meat on a stick. But I plan to go back soon and try some of the premium and precooked stuff. They have forks you just have to ask. I got 3/4 of the way through my meal using the chopsticks which was fun. But the Ramen noodles I'd thrown in the soup just wouldn't come out with them and the long handle spoon for getting heavier food items out of the pot wasn't catching them all. The bottom was noodle mush by the end. The egg noodle did hold up better to being stuck in the broth though. I got a vegetable broth, it was okay but next time I'm trying a broth that comes with a distinct flavor of its own. Like the tomato broth. I tried the beef belly, lamb, and someone's chicken. They give you a few slices on a plate and you can order more as needed. The sign at the door also says you have a 2 hour time limit. So when I wanted food that took longer to cook I got it first and sunk it in the broth so it'll have a longer cook time while I ate the stuff that just needed a minute in the broth to cook or lose the bitterness. Am definitely going again. It was a very positive no pressure experience and the waitstaff was attentive and discrete.

Would’ve been 5 starts but they tables are pretty cramped! Servers: Very friendly! Anyone you see just stop & they help you. Since it’s a self serve thing they don’t stop too often at the table. So they tell you to just stop any of them walking by Broths: We all got different ones so we could all try them! My sister, her Bf, myself & my husband went. I got the Mala spicy which was soooo good. I love spice but not to a point you can’t taste the food. This was perfect heat & flavor. Every broth we got was good. There is also things at the bar to add to it if you want to adjust the flavor more to your liking. The environment: clean! Bathrooms not as much but not bad. Had all the old schools jams playing which I loved. Plenty of things to choose from which were labeled & clean Food choices: The free endless meat they had was a huge bonus! I love pork shoulder & my hubby loves beef belly. Yes you pay for any premium meats so it depends on if you don’t like the endless meat choices, if that matters to you. We didn’t care for the premium stuff so we were happy. The endless veggies, different choices of noodles, & everything else is impressive! Right down to the watermelon that was sweet & a brownie that I couldn’t stop eating for desert. My husband is allergic to shell fish but I did try the clams & they were good with teriyaki sauce I added. I wasn’t brave enough to try anything more with him there. The seafood looked decent but keep in mind we are in AZ. I’m from MN so my standards are just too high so I try to be nice about seafood here. I do know horrible seafood & this place had decent stuff. We have eaten at other hot pots & my husband & I got a quarter of what we ate here for $80! For $30 a person this place is a steal!!! Definitely will be back.
