In a world where Starbucks occupies every corner and "authenticity" becomes harder and harder to find, there once was a hidden gem in the heart of historic Mesquite. Bear Cave was one of a kind, it was a refuge with a personality all its own
until its essence faded away. I used to visit every weekend to escape the city rush. I always felt right at home, surrounded by its unique aesthetic and quirky decor, while enjoying a good cup of coffee. My wife and I always left with one or two bags of Porch Culture, an excellent coffee they used to sell at a surprisingly fair price, even cheaper than it was sold directly online. Today, however, they replaced it with Cultivar coffee, which is not only overpriced but also of much lower quality. You can literally find it on Walmart shelves! Now we have decided to subscribe directly to Porch Culture since Bear Cave Coffee stopped being what it once was, so I'd rather stay home with better coffee. The one they used to sell was the "Crowd Pleaser Espresso" at $13/ bag. On their official website, its a bit more expensive at $15.50, but you can get three bags with free shipping for under $47! Good luck finding awesome quality at a better price! Anyways
what happened to Bear Cave Coffee is, without a doubt, a tragedy. We will stay at home until we find another hidden gem.

Figured I'd try it, why not? Right!!! Well I'm glad I did😊 I'm surprised I haven't heard much of this place. I went in for a coffee and walked away with a coffee and a pastry. I was also eyeballing the breakfast burritos, but decided next time. It's more spacious than I'd imagined, with several sitting areas. It gave me chill and stay for awhile vibes. I would have if it weren't for a previous appointment, but I will definitely be back. The staff was friendly and kind enough to recommend El Oso. I really liked it😋 I recommend you give this small local business a try 👍👍One recommendation is notating your prices on your menus! 09/20/2024- I went back and this time I try tried the breakfast tacos. I was not a fan, for $4.50 each they should have more filling. I will still go back, because I liked the coffee and the laid back vibe. 😊

Love supporting small business and this coffee shop was a hidden lil gem. It's quaint and a laid back looking vibe. The staff was very friendly and informative. I ordered the Teddy Graham Lattee and I liked the flavor of the coffee, the coffee was not as strong which I like and there was no bitterness or after taste. I didn't need to add anything additional, except I kind of wished it had more of a cinnamon flavor. I also got a blueberry scone and it was good, it was warmed and had a nice soft crunchy edge and soft middle, it was not overly sweet. I would definitely come back to try other items.

I have had the pleasure of visiting this local coffee shop many times before but finally getting around to writing a review. This little gem, nestled in a quaint corner, downtown Mesquite, provides an exceptional coffee experience that is truly worth raving about.

The coffee here is simply outstanding. From the first sip to the last, each cup is a testament to the artistry and passion of the baristas. The aroma alone is enough to transport you to a state of pure bliss, and the rich, velvety flavors dance harmoniously on your palate.

But it's not just the coffee that steals the show; the selection of snacks and treats is equally delightful. The carefully curated menu offers an array of delectable options that complement the beverage offerings perfectly. There is something to satisfy every craving.

One cannot discuss this coffee shop without mentioning the exceptional customer service. The staff here goes above and beyond to ensure that each visit is met with warmth and enthusiasm. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with genuine smiles and a willingness to assist. The attention to detail and genuine care for customers is truly commendable, making the entire experience all the more enjoyable.

The decor of the coffee shop is undeniably cute. With its charming blend of modern and cozy elements, it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. From the whimsical artwork on the walls to the comfortable seating arrangements, every corner exudes a sense of coziness that invites you to linger and unwind. It's the kind of place that makes you want to grab a book, settle in, and lose track of time.

Speaking of atmosphere, it's truly something special. The combination of the soothing background music, the soft hum of conversation, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee creates an ambiance that is both invigorating and relaxing. It's the ideal spot to catch up with friends, dive into work, or simply take a moment to savor the present.

In conclusion, this local coffee shop has captured my heart with its exceptional coffee, delightful snacks, and outstanding customer service. The cute decor and inviting atmosphere complete the experience, making it a place I look forward to visiting time and time again. If you're in search of a haven where great coffee and warm hospitality merge seamlessly, look no further than this hidden gem in...

The coffee shop I always wished Mesquite had.

It's been around for about a year now, but I had never stopped by before. My friend and I came in the hopes of coffee and a study spot with Wi-Fi we didn't have to drive 20+ minutes for. We were not disappointed.

The lady at the counter was one of the owners of the place, along with her husband that was sitting nearby. She was super helpful in explaining what their different specialty drinks were and even informed us of their student discount (I always forget to ask). They make most of their syrups in-house with the husband coming up with a lot of the specialty drink ideas. I recommend trying out their seasonal ones if you're feeling adventurous. You can also buy coffee beans and stickers.

Our drinks didn't take too long and there was plenty of seating and outlets, with the Wi-Fi password posted on one of their bulletin boards. We were there from 5 PM to 6 PM and it was never too loud. The music was the perfect volume and the place had a nice, relaxing ambiance.

I got a vanilla latte and it was the perfect sweetness and temperature. My friend got a hot chocolate with a shot of espresso and enjoyed it as well.

Will definitely be coming back, for casual conversation, studying, or even just a quick...
