We decided on this placed based on the reviews and pictures of the food. Unfortunately, our first visit fell short. Three different people came to our table for three different times which included: taking our order, bringing food, and picking up our plates, so we didn’t know who was our designated server. We had to ask twice for a drink refill and three times for an order we placed in the beginning, to-go after we were done eating. The check never came either and after waiting 20-25mins, we just got up and approached the checkout. Even then, we had to wait a while before someone finally checked us out, but as soon as one of the servers saw us, she finally remembered our to-go order and brought that to us as we paid. Aside from the bad service, that food was okay. My beans and rice were pretty tasty and so was the horchata but that was it.

The food was good and decently priced..but agter going to the bathroom and seeing the hallway and bathroom i was disgusted and sat outside to eat. i'm just trying to figure out why mesquite restaurants have no ambiance, beautiful decorations, or sense of appeal for an uptown Dallas feel. There is money in Mesquite, Sunnyvale, and Forney, yet the restaurants are mediocre. MOST THE PEOPLE IN THESE CITIES TRAVEL TO OTHER AREAS OF DALLAS AND SPEND THEIR MONEY THERE INSTEAD OF THEIR OWN COMMUNITY. THERE are no sexy, hip restaurants in these areas... and the chamber of commerce should be ashamed.. why is there not a Brazialian steakhouses, arabic foods, and Mediterranean food in these areas?

Antonio, Nora, and Adrian are 3 of the best people you'd ever want to meet and greet! This restaurant makes you feel like family. Food is wonderful and the people that work there are even better! Shout out to the kitchen staff for some of my favorite meals here! Barbacoa plate, Chilaquiles, Menudo, and the enchiladas!

$40 FOR TWO, bland fajitas, bland rice, bland beans, almost sweet and no kick salsa, bland queso, bland guacamole and watered-down tea. My wife had lemon in her tea and it had more flavor than just regular tea. It was almost as if she was drinking a very thinned out lemonade. She did say that she enjoyed her tamale, not hard to screw those up because you can buy them off the shelf at any store in the freezer section and they taste good, she has had almost as good from a can.

Another major letdown was the salsa, I swear it was almost sweet like someone had put sugar in it. You could not taste anything in it really. I could not taste cilantro, I could not taste the Tomato, couldn't even taste the onion! We had to ask for something hotter which they brought out some more which added a little bit of spice to it and the queso. It also helped the salsa. Otherwise they were just playing off the shelves out of a can Bland.

I was personally very let down on the fajitas, the combination fajitas only had chicken and beef, most places when they list combination fajitas, you have shrimp as well. However, given that the fajitas were so BLAND it would have been an insult to the shrimp that died to be plated. Total waste of money and food, because this stuff was Bland, Bland, Bland. I have had better fajitas, enchiladas, rice and beans from the 99 Cent Store freezer; back when I was broke and was trying to save money.

The good points, atmosphere was good, music was a little loud but that's acceptable. The tables were clean, the place lookd clean. The staff was, more or less friendly, I really would have expected to see someone's with a smile on their face, even behind a mask you can tell because of the way the eyes crinkle oh, you know what I mean. But seriously an overall of attitude, putting some work into the food would be of a great help. Also the food is served hot, as in still sizzling, and almost burning your mouth. I like that, that means it's fresh. So that's where they picked up the two stars but they lost the other three on...

NEVER AGAIN!!! This was my first and LAST time there!! BAD SERVICE AND EXTREMELY DIRTY! No one was at the front of the restaurant so we went ahead and seated ourselves. The waitress came and was not courteous at all, she just asked what we wanted to drink but since this was our first time there we told her we weren’t sure so she said she would come back. She came back after 15 minutes to take our drink order, she brought our drinks and I told her we were ready to order. She said I had to wait for the other waiter to take our food order because she only brought the drinks. We waited another 15 minutes for the other waiter, he took our order and we waited an HOUR to get our food, ridiculous! And the whole time we were waiting not one person came to ask us if we needed anything, refills, nothing nor did they tell us the status of our food. And the food wasn’t even great, not even worth the wait. The place is extremely dirty, they do not clean. The tables were greasy, they had all the “clean” silverware in a bucket that had grime on the outside, the beverage refrigerator doors had fingerprints all over it, they had planters with rust on them, dust in every corner and in the air vents and the list goes on and on. I saw the place had a lot of good reviews so I thought I’d give it a try but it was the worst restaurant we’d been to, I don’t see where all those good...

Hi to all that will read this survey, well hate to say it but the service is very low this was my first time and probably the last. I walked in and took a table a few minutes the waitress asks me for anything to drink i said yes Orange juice and all of this fine.i asked to the waitress if they served menudo, she said yes and didn't take long to serve up to this point the waitress was completely gone never came back not even to give me the receipt. I needed a few things like napkins, more serrano peppers, tortillas, a glass of water, etc etc no one available to help 🤦 the menudo was ok nothing to brag about because the pieces of gut were to big to chew and one other things I needed was a soup spoon to hey gave a little spoon don't know why and took me the longest time to finish my menudo. Anyhow still with all of this I left a 1.05 dollar tip for a 12.95 menudo and a glass of orange juice. Please whomever reads this feedback don't go there and leave with a bad ok impression of a Mexican restaurant there is nothing like it in Mexico. I will look for a future Mexican restaurant this I think I will not try again because if I need something I will not be able to get it 🤦🤷. Hope the owner reads this and tries to do a better job that's all I can give as my best option. Happy...
