I really ever put a bad review but this is just something that was very meaningful to me. My wife isn’t feeling very well. I’m trying to get some fresh donuts to brighten up her day just a little and I went in this morning at 5:13 AM to try to get some fresh donuts And the guy told me pretty much go home and put them in the microwave myself. I know it’s nothing crazy. Least you can do is just tell me when the next batch will be ready rather than making me feel like a dick for asking. it was dead, just me in there. I get five ways donuts. They’re all cold. I go back. Ask him if I can get some fresh ones. He tells me they are fresh so I ask him for to warm them up a little bit and he bakes the hell out of them. I take them out the box and they are so soggy. So then I just Ask him for a new set And then he told me to go microwave them at home. my wife really loves this place and she’s always leaving great reviews at these places but this was so...

Does this location use different products and recipes? The bold jalapeno kolaches are one of my favorite things when I used to regular a location in Plano. The bread was dense and nicely toasted with lots of cheese and jalapeno inside. This location gives you pale, possibly underdone bread akin to an olive garden breadstick with barely anything inside. It's a shame and I'm not sure if all Shipley donuts are like this now but this is not what I remember. The eclair also seems subpar, tasting almost like a gas station donut. This is not what I expect of Shipley especially...
