Windsor Florist — Local services in Mesquite

Mesquite Windsor Florist always gives friendly, great timely service! These negative reviews are so bogus!

I’ve ordered flowers from the Mesquite Windsor Florist for many years and have never had a problem at all. The flowers are always great and fresh. They always last a couple of weeks.

I’ve even asked them to put me something together for my wife sight unseen and they were beautiful!

These people complaining about quality are flat out liars and the ones complaining about price are idiots. The prices are right in line with all the other professional florist out there.

Don’t go to a professional florist and expect to pay grocery store prices! How ignorant can you be? That’s like comparing apples to oranges.

There is something to be said about professional service, craftsmanship and personal delivery.

My husband ordered flowers from Ava Flowers, and we’re both so disappointed. They were supposed to be delivered on the 30th, but they showed up on the 29th — completely ruining the timing. He paid for a large arrangement, and what was sent looked nothing like it. It was small, sparse, and definitely not worth what he paid.

When we called the local florist (Windsor Flowers in Mesquite, TX), they said the order they received from Ava was only for $50 worth of flowers and a $5 card — and that they were satisfied with what they sent. Well, I am not satisfied at all. In fact, Windsor should be embarrassed by what they sent.

To make it worse, we can’t get a hold of anyone at Ava Flowers’ customer service. No one answers, and no one responds.

He ordered this as a gift, and what was sent was honestly embarrassing. We’ll never order from Ava...

DO NOT RECOMMEND. You can find better arrangements at Kroger.

A couple things had to go wrong here for me to leave a review.

1. The arrangement looked nothing like the picture
2. The quality of the flowers were inconsistent (many arrived wilted)
3. Lack of ownership by Windsor "Florist"

Whilst substitutions are unavoidable, do not add whatever you have lying around to fill a vase. Please, at minimum, try to match the original motif of the arrangement purchased by using a color wheel. Purple roses with magenta tips are not a tasteful choice here.

Alstroemeria's which are known for being resilient and long lasting arrived nearly crispy. Other flowers arrived wilted.

The Florist took ZERO ownership of their craftmanship and had no motivation to resolve the issue.
