I had a horrible experience today around 5:00 p.m with a security officer that works for Kroger. I didn’t get her name but she is African American, on the heavier side, and has a red strip of hair. I was looking for my kitten who got lost in the parking lot of Kroger. I had been searching for my kitten everywhere for three hours, when I finally realized my kitten was in the hood of a car in front of pet supplies. She started screaming at me and told me to get up from the damn floor. I was on the floor because I was reaching for my cat underneath a car in front of pet supplies. I proceeded to tell her my cat was in the car and she told me that she had been watching me and that i had been out in the parking lot for a while.
I didn’t appreciate her tone and how she came up to me. In other words she basically accused me of suspicious activity. I told her to the call the cops if she wanted to.
I literally had tuna and a cat toy in my hand. Calling my cat’s name underneath the car. And if I was a suspicious person I wouldn’t be underneath the most beat up car in the parking lot. I work in security as well and I feel she needs to be trained on actually mitigating threat and learn how to talk to people. Rather than yelling at me and attacking me while it was obvious that I was looking for my cat. She could have found out what was going on with a...
Read moreMost employees here at this Kroger are friendly and helpful but there's one lady in deli.. Tanya ..who is not esp when comes to helping customers or even answering simple questions. She talks ghetto, rude! Even when you speak kindly to her. She's talked that way to me twice and I've heard her talking to another employee about another customer very badly. 0% good customer service from her. Makes me not want to go there cuz I feel like I need to avoid that entire section of store..deli... just to avoid her. No one deserves to be treated like trash. We all work hard for money we spend there. I've been goin there for almost 20 years now. Have thought about going to another Kroger even. Sad. She must not need her job to be like that all the time. I get one in while we have bad day but that's ridiculous to always be like that to customers. Update*6/5/23.. same rude lady in deli. Name is Tanya.. can't answer a question without a nasty remark. Asked another employee who asked her the question and the other employer has to tell her to calm down cuz of Tanya nasty answer. Really Kroger manger there's plenty people who can do her job and be better at it and customer service!!! She is not worth losing business for!! Customers are what keep you in business and her having a job. She and y'all need to realize...
Read moreI would like Kroger’s management team to know that Ashley at the self checkout is awesome! I have been out looking for water because my daughter has an 11 month old. They live in Dallas and their water got cut off yesterday due to the weather. But anyway as I was passing by I seen the truck pulling up to deliver to you all. I was just coming in to check when will they have stocked everything. Ashley told me it will definitely be tomorrow. So I said ok because I’m trying to get water for my grand baby and daughter. So I proceeded to tell her about their situation, then Ashley said hold on let me check to see if I still got this water over here! Luckily she did she had a case of water and save the day! I was so thankful for what she did I just had to give her something to get her some lunch! People don’t understand it’s the little things! Ashley is definitely the kind of employee that goes the extra mile. Because she didn’t have to give that water up. Thank you to all the hard working employees working in this tough season we all are facing! This is the Kroger’s on Galloway and Kearney.
Many Thanks,...
