Alright, let's start with the pizza, because who doesn't love pizza, right? It was seriously out of this world. The crust was thin and crispy, and the toppings were so fresh and bursting with flavor. I seriously could have eaten a whole pie by myself.
Next up, we ordered the Vitello Tonato, which is fancy Italian for veal with tuna sauce. Trust me, it was a game-changer. The veal was so tender, sliced paper-thin, and that sauce... oh man, it was like a smooth and creamy flavor explosion in my mouth. I'm drooling just thinking about it.
We also tried the artichoke dish, and let me tell you, it was unexpectedly awesome. The artichokes were cooked to perfection—tender and just the right amount of bite. The sauce that came with it was the bomb, adding a tangy kick that balanced out the slight bitterness of the artichokes.
Now, let's talk about the truffle pasta. Holy moly, that dish was mind-blowing! Each strand of pasta was coated in this rich, decadent truffle sauce that was seriously to die for. I mean, the smell alone was enough to send me to foodie heaven. If you're into truffles, you gotta try this dish. Seriously.
To wash it all down, we enjoyed some ice-cold beer. It was the perfect companion to our meal, and they had a great selection to choose from. It really hit the spot and made the whole experience even better.
For dessert, we indulged in some seriously delicious profiteroles. They were like little balls of joy. The pastry was light and fluffy, and the cream inside was so dreamy. And don't get me started on the chocolate sauce. It was pure heaven, dripping all over those beauties.
The service at Cecconi's was top-notch, too. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knew their stuff. They hooked us up with some awesome recommendations and made sure we had an amazing time.
All in all, Cecconi's at Soho Beach House Miami was seriously one of the best food adventures I've had. The food was insanely good, the vibe was on point, and the service was spot-on. Whether you're looking for a romantic date night or a rad hangout with friends, Cecconi's is where you need to be to experience mind-blowing Italian cuisine that'll have you coming...
Read moreMy friend and I went for a night out.. We are local 305 people. We ordered Lamb Chops and a Filet Mignon. The lamb was good. My friend's Filet was overcooked.. He ordered medium rare. The steak came out medium . We told the waiter "Guillermo" . Guillermo acted very well and brought my friend back another steak. Meanwhile, I was eating my Lamb Chops, and we drank our red wine glass while waiting . The second steak was undercooked. We asked to see the manager. She came and apologized. My friend was not at the table. When he returned, she said that she saw the second steak and it was not right. Undercooked.. she offered to replace it. Also, she offered to comp. my friend's meal and buy us the next round. My friend had no confidence that the kitchen could put out a medium rare steak. He decided to order pasta bologense. It was just awful. Over cooked rigatoni with an insipid meat sauce. We had enough! Over 2 hours waiting.
We told the waiter. Just to bring us an after dinner bourbon and a whisky. Mind you, the manager promised the next round and my friends meal no charge.
When the bill came, I was so annoyed . "BAIT AND SWITCH" She took out the 2 wines that we ordered 2 1/2 hours before.
I asked to speak with the manager again. I expressed our dissatisfaction with her.
Afterward, she adjusted the bill. However, she only removed one of the after dinner whiskey.
WHAT A TERRIBLE NIGHT!
A complete tourist trap.
I WILL tell all of my friends not to come to this Miami Beach restaurant.
I went to the concierge desk at the Fountainblue Hotel and told them about the worst Tuesday night dining experience.
Please ...never, never, Never recommend anyone to dine next door.
He agreed with me and said that he had a bad experience as well.
Terrible food, and worst of all, the restaurant manager is pathetic and...
Read moreGreat atmosphere and the food was delicious! We came here for my girlfriend’s birthday and we had a great nice experience. We were a little early for our reservation but the host was generous enough to seat us anyway. The entire atmosphere was awesome! An energetic outdoor patio vibe with trees and string lighting throughout mixed with some great tunes in the background. We were promptly greeted by our waiter and after we got settled with our waters, we dove right into the cocktail menu. My girlfriend ordered the Grapefruit Sbagliato and I went with my go-to, Angel’s Envy bourbon, neat. We also ordered a starter to go with our cocktails and went with the Baked Gnocchi Romana with Gorgonzola. Our cocktails were very tasty and our gnocchi had incredible flavor! Our waiter then brought us some bread and told us about the night’s special, which sounded incredible and I actually ended up ordering that dish. It was a spaghetti-like noodle with Alfredo sauce, Parmesan, and shaved truffles on top. It was seriously out of this world and the shaved truffles on the top added an immense amount of flavor! My girlfriend ordered the Buffalo mozzarella, tomato, oregano pizza and it too was incredible. It was a fairly good size too, probably could have fed 2 people as we ended up taking half of it back to our hotel. Instead of going with dessert we ordered a glass of wine. I went with the Valpolicella ‘La Corte del Pozzo from Italy and my girlfriend went with the Oregon Pinot Noir. I’ve never had a Valpolicella wine before and it was really good...light but very flavor forward. We really enjoyed our dining experience here and can’t wait to come...
