MAGNASUSHI — Restaurant in Miami Beach

I am HIGHLY DUBIOUS of most, if not all, of the Google reviews that precede mine. Firstly, the restaurant only opened a few days ago and find it hard to believe that ~50 people would leave reviews already. Secondly, for ALL the reviews to be 5-star for a restaurant that JUST OPENED seems unheard off, as inevitably there are teething problems. Thirdly, it seems extremely coincidental that almost all reviewers (at least the ones whose profiles have multiple reviews) are Italian, like the management, in a city which does not have so many of that demographic. Fourthly, I had a VERY POOR experience here. Namely, the sashimi was patently not fresh, or had not been stored properly, as it smelt putrid as soon as I raised a piece to my mouth (after noticing that the appearance looked limp and awry). They did not charge me for the dish but were VERY defensive when I pointed out that I have never been served fish that smelt so bad and I was not convinced it was fresh. Another thing that bugged me about this place was the waiter asked me if I wanted still or sparkling water - not bottled or tap. I replied still and he turned up with an already opened large bottle of imported water. I will not...

Dining at Magna was an absolute treat! Once inside this sleek space, we enjoyed Miami Beachs's freshest and most succulent selection of seafood, served sushi and sashimi style.

The fired salmon with truffle oil plate was presented beautifully with the salmon expertly scored. Add a perfectly balanced brushed topper of oil, using the freshest and most fully flavored, high quality truffle oil I've experienced on the Beach for some time, along with the sear.... repeats are going to be happening!

The staff service was top notch, and is truly to be admired.

Really a nice find,very trendy fusion place near lincon road,as you enter you feel a cool atmosphere, very professional and friendly staff, attentive to every detail and always fast and helpful. The courses were outstanding, dishes with excellent raw material, balanced flavor and well plated, with a great choice for all tastes. The beverage list is extensive and well stocked with the best labels for every need. I will definitely come back to see the guys at MagnaSushi and recommend everyone to try it for both...
