I ordered a pesto pasta through Uber. Unfortunately the Uber delivery service was delayed. While this was happening, I decided to call the restaurant, and asked them to please put the pasta in a place where it could be kept warm. The employee's response, without the slightest sympathy, was "It's not our fault, and your order is in a bag already". After an hour waiting for the delivery, I finally received the pasta. I understand it was a bad service from Uber, but when I opened the bag, pasta was soggy, over greasy, cold, and of course not "al dente" at all. greasy pasta, plus not a single plastic fork or a piece of napkin. I called them again and complain. Same employee answered again, and told me, "If you don't request it, you don't get it".. Few minutes later the manager of the restaurant called me to ask me what had happened. His call, did not add anything to help with my disapoinment Of course my rating in Uber for them was low. Today, they sent me an email through Uber, I believe is from "the manager," who wrote, "f You, had given the driver a better tip, the quality of the service would have been better". I come to this business and expect to get the food I have already paid for. The manager was not interested in the order number that I received via text message and continued to ask my name. I gave him my name and he searched and searched telling me he does not see my order. I then had to reorder my food and he only gave me a 10% discount knowing I already paid for my food and provided the order number in which my food was ready from their website.
