Awful hotel, better off just renting an Airbnb for much cheaper. So many things wrong with the hotel. We get there and they say they’re not offering the free breakfast that they promised upon booking “because of covid.” It’s July. It’s Miami. Covid is over. Every other hotel in the area has been offering free breakfast for months. They didn’t give any of our money back or notify us beforehand. The main reason we booked this hotel was for the free breakfast.

Just look at the photos attached, I removed the sheet off of my bed and that’s what the mattress looked like. Absolutely disgusted that I was sleeping on that for 4 days.

Sheets were itchy.

Our shower handle was broken and we notified the front desk but they did nothing about it.

Hole in our Duvet as u can see in the photo.

THE DUVETS DIDNT HAVE DUVET COVERS!!! It was just sandwiched between two sheets, so our duvets were obviously dirty as these cannot be washed. That’s what duvet covers are for!!

Safe did not work.

Only gave us two beach towels.

There is a fancy vegan restaurant whose seating is right in front of the hotel lobby doors. When entering the hotel, you have to walk through everyone dining at the restaurant and staring at you.

Staff was rude

They did not clean our room or bedding our entire stay.

There’s a TV, but any of the channels worth watching say “connection interrupted” when you try to watch them.

Could hear our neighbors getting it on at midnight. Very unpleasant.

They did not collect our trash, and there are no trash chutes or anywhere to put it in the building.

Elevator was like 2 square feet, maximum of two thin people could fit.

They do not answer the phone when calling to ask about reservations, deposit, etc.

Bathroom doesn’t have a fan.

Charged us a $500 fee upon arrival as a deposit. That’s bs. Not everyone has $500 to throw around. They also don’t pay it back for 7-10 days, and from other reviews it seems like many never got their deposit back. It was not obvious upon booking that they would request this deposit.

They promise free umbrella, chair, and kayak rentals, but only for half an hour? That’s not enough time for anything.

Had to flush toilet three times to get anything down, and only gave use one tiny bar of soap.

So yeah it was pretty horrible. It looks like a deal online, and cheap comparatively for only one night, but then they surprise you with all these extra charges. JUST BOOK AN AIRBNB if you’re on a budget. will be much cheaper for longer stays, cleaner, more comfortable, and you won’t have to deal...

This hotel's front desk and management had ZERO customer service. The room we booked (450 sq ft) was not available due to some plumbing issue, but the hotel did not inform us in advance. They waited until we arrived and did not give us the option to cancel at check-in on 8/21. So we had to stay in 2 separate small rooms (220 sq ft) instead of one big room. The next day, I asked the front desk (I think her name is Genesis) if there was any penalty if we'd leave one day early due to their room circumstances, she said no penalty, but then refused to refund the second room's reservation. The front desk staff said they would only do what they were to told by their manager. They were not allowed to make any significant decisions or reach out to their manager when she was not there. So you would need a lot of luck if you want to talk to the manager (Her name is Alejandra Boucherles).

I have asked multiple times to speak with Alejandra. Because their front desk did not pick up the phone, I have had to call their Reservation Department and spoke with Tivana and Korsner at least 3 times on 8/22, 24 and 26. They said they would relay the message to Alejandra, but as of 8/31 - it's been 10 days, and still nothing from Alejandra or the hotel's management. I have not seen any hotel that is so disrespectful of its customers. So STAY AWAY and DO NOT stay at this hotel.

*Posted on 9/9/2022 In reply to Guest Services' response:

Words are cheap. If you are sincere and honest in your response, you should look into 2 reservations (#699754594 and #702670599) to see what happened and to refund these bookings accordingly. We should only pay for the one night we stayed in your hotel. If you have a direct phone number to call, I'd be happy to talk...

TERRIBLE LOCATION!!!! I don’t typically write reviews like this but this experience needs to be public for other women to be aware. My friend booked our stay. The hotel was nice and held our bags until check-in. They allowed us to use the pool but did not warn us about the homeless in the area. A drunk homeless man came into the pool area while we were waiting around 11am, at first he was friendly until he started trying to touch me inappropriately. He asked multiple times to see my feet, my bottom, and begged me to suck his private areas. This man was at the pool for more than 2 hours with hotel staff walking through. It wasn’t until another girl who saw everything happen while walking through asked the front desk to handle the situation, that’s when the man finally stopped coming near me trying to grope me. They did not acknowledge this incident afterwards, which I believe was unprofessional for a hotel. They should have these things under control, especially while they are walking around the pool property . . .

THIS LOCATION IS ABOUT 30min WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE MAIN PART OF OCEAN DRIVE. I wouldn’t normally mind a long walk, but in 90 degree humidity I was under the impression it was closer, maybe that was my booking mistake. The rooms are nice with AC except in the bathrooms, which also do not have a fan or a place to dry your towel without touching the toilet seat or in the tub. The bathtubs barely drain and the water stays lukewarm. The walls look like they could use a new painting (maybe 20 years ago) but beds are comfy and the rooms are very spacious. Also, WiFi does not work and there are (what look like) blood...

I do not usually leave reviews, but I have tried reaching out to the hotel by email on this matter but have not received any answers. I was extremely disappointed with my stay at The Crest Miami. The experience was far from what I expected. First, there was constant construction noise throughout the day and night, which made it nearly impossible to get any rest. On top of that, there was a lot of disturbance related to that in the hallways that further interrupted our sleep. To make matters worse, the air conditioning in our room wasn't working properly, making it uncomfortably warm. Additionally, the toilet was clogged, which caused even more frustration during our stay. I reached out to the hotel management with my concerns, but unfortunately, there was no follow-up or acknowledgment of the issues I experienced. Given the lack of response and the condition of the room, I would not recommend staying here, especially if you're looking for a peaceful and comfortable experience. The only good side was that the bed was comfortable but i can’t think of much else. Would have hoped for a better level of service and follow up, especially considering the price (and the daily 30$ service fee you get charged at your arrival).

I had a terrible experience during my stay at Crest Hotel Suites. While trying to close a window in my room, it suddenly collapsed on my hand, causing a serious injury: a crushed nail and a fractured finger. I had to seek urgent medical attention and am still recovering. What’s worse is how the hotel handled the situation — or rather, how they didn’t. They had no first aid kit, no one from staff offered any assistance, no one apologized, and they have ignored all my emails since I submitted a formal complaint. The hotel looks beautiful in photos, with a “fancy” design, but in reality, it’s poorly maintained and feels quite cheap. The window was clearly unsafe, and the room had other signs of neglect. Also, the pool is nothing like what you expect from the pictures — it’s tiny and wedged into a concrete hole with no atmosphere. Definitely not a relaxing space. This injury completely ruined my vacation plans and caused a lot of stress and pain. I strongly future guests to reconsider this hotel. A place that neglects guest safety and refuses to take responsibility is simply unacceptable.
