Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Miami Shores

Delivery guy was was awful! What am I giving a tip for when he calls me to walk to his car to get my order?!? Then, when he's told the soda is missing, he says there wasn't a soda on the order when there was and on the pizza box it CLEARLY says on the sticker "diet soda" his response then was "oh there wasn't anymore" so I told him this is our 2nd time we didn't get the soda ordered. I called the location and got lucky they answered and gave my order number and was told "the delivery guy will bring it." The delivery guy called me again saying he has the soda. I looked out, didn't see a car but walked down the driveway to see his car at the neighbors house. Just curious what my tip to him was for since both times I had to go get my order! I paid a delivery fee and I gave a tip. There was nothing blocking the driveway, there was nothing listed saying for him to call me so I can walk out for me to get my food. Did delivery change at papa johns that it's no longer delivered to my door? The food was correct and tasted fine. But, the delivery was so awful I would sooner order from other pizza places. In the past if they didn't have the type of soda they'd call and let me know and say what they had available. Annoyed I tip someone who didn't do there job, if they don't want to verify to make sure they have everything for the order before leaving to deliver and they don't want to get out of the car to deliver the food then don't be a delivery driver! I don't usually write reviews, but this is the 2nd time this happened. I am completely appalled. My order was not only delayed but was also COMPLETELY INCORRECT. AND THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO RESOLUTION. I have pictures of what I received and the order that was printed on the pizza box and the order that I placed online. I placed an online order. I ordered a thin crust pizza with all bacon, half jalapeño, half pineapple. When I received the pizza, there was ZERO BACON, ALL jalapeño ALL Pineapple and THICK CRUST. When I called in the employee on the phone said his manager made it and was claiming that it was done correctly. I was literally on the phone for 15 minutes going back and forth. We offered to bring it back so they can see it for themselves or even send pictures of it through text. We honestly just wanted the order fixed. They refused and did nothing. They said there was nothing they could do because they’re closed and their manager was the one who did the order. Again I have pictures of everything. I plan on calling corporate and filing a complaint against this manager and store. How can you honestly not even offer to fix it. I literally gave Papa John’s $35 for free because I can’t even eat the pizza. It’s not what I ordered, it’s disrespectful and it’s fraud. I really hope whoever the manager is gets reprimanded because it’s complete dishonesty and disrespect. Again I’m going to file a complaint with corporate. If I could give a negative star I would. I ordered at 7:56pm and was given a 40 min approximate delivery time. The delivery tracking was not working on the app so after an hour of not receiving my order, I went to wait in my building's lobby for the driver. I saw the delivery driver show up at 9:15pm and literally sat in front of my building for 10 min before coming inside, 9:25pm. Once I received my pizza, I noticed one of the boxes' sticker seal was already broken. So I tried calling the store 14 times, one of which I was put on hold for 10 min the other times I was either put on hold immediately without being acknowledged or hung up on. Finally, I was able to talk to the manager and I explained what happened and he was nowhere near accommodating, telling me I have to bring the pizzas back to the store for a refund. I refused and told him he can send the driver back to pick them up but I'm not driving all the way over to the store for something I had delivered. That's the point of having delivery, not having to leave my home. There was no resolution but I refused to eat something on which the seal had already been broken. I will NEVER order from Papa...
