This is a small restaurant inside of the Miami International airport. I only ordered a burger with fries. They have great food. But, they are VERY expensive!!!! Remember, these are airport prices where if you want cheese on your burger it costs $1.25 per slice, etc. Plus, this place gets crowded and gets loud as hell with the loud TV and noises from the crowded room. I purely didn't like the loud and rushed environment. You won't have much peace and quiet while you're eating here. Some people won't mind the noise/rush. But, I didn't like it; especially when I already had the stress of catching my next plane. Plus, this restaurant is in a SUPER small room where there's very little space. In fact, you might be sharing your table with random people.
My main verdict is: DO NOT eat at AIRPORTS if you could avoid it!! I only ate here because American Airline gave me a food voucher. So, I used it. But, this place was STILL expensive even with the voucher; because I still had to pay a bit, it wasn't completely free, and maybe such was a way for American Airlines to make more money, etc.
However, even if I were rich I STILL wouldn't eat here without at least a coupon or voucher. I'd just wait until I get outside of the airport where there are A TON more options instead of jacked-up prices. Outside of the airport, there'd of course be more cheaper variety to choose from. You could get a charboiled burger and fry meal at AppleBees, Burger King or ANYWHERE else! Hence, if it wasn’t for the voucher I had, I'd rather patiently wait until my flight, etc. is over and just go to ANY other cheaper restaurant for...
Read moreDON’T EAT HERE. Extremely rude manager, poor service, and DISGUSTING food. I came her with my husband because it looked like a nice spot to watch the masters tournament. I am a pescatarian and at first glance didn’t see fish on the menu. I told them I was going to go get food elsewhere and would be back (I got sushi)- before they never mentioned they had a fish item. Also let me preface and say the place was packed and they were not having trouble with service. While I was gone, my husband ordered beer, an appetizer, entree and side item. When I came back in, the girl waiting on me told me I wasn’t “allowed“ to eat there. I asked why. She left and came back to tell us her manager said “e doesn’t allow outside food at all.“ They also wouldn’t let me sit there with my food in the bag waiting for my husband to finish his beer or get his food and told us to leave. I really have no idea why as we were being extremely kind and not creating any issues or being rude. The poor waiter told us she though it was stupid and she’s sorry her manager is “being like this.” We told her we agreed but not to worry as it’s not her fault. Since she felt bad, she urged the manager to let my husband get his food to go. While we were waiting, the manager stood by our table and stared at me/ watched me until my husband got his food to make sure I didn’t try to eat. I felt this was super unnecessary and he was looking at me with the nastiest look ever. He never once spoke to us...
Read moreWe were disappointed with our recent experience at this restaurant during a layover in Miami. Upon arrival, a member of our party informed the host that we were a group of three, though two of us were grabbing coffee nearby. My husband was seated in the meantime but was questioned about why he was placed at a table for four and asked whether he should wait for the rest of the group. He explained that the others would be joining shortly.
Once we arrived, and just as my husband’s food was being delivered, a server approached our table and—without any greeting—immediately told my mother that outside food and drinks were not allowed. While we understand that policies must be upheld, the delivery of this message felt abrupt and unnecessarily harsh. We had fully intended to order food ourselves, and a more courteous approach would have made a significant difference.
Feeling unwelcome, we asked for the check and left to dine elsewhere. My husband had to quickly finish his Cobb salad and cocktail so that we could remain together as a family. Marlon, the cashier, helped us on the way out, though we didn’t catch the name of the server- I believe he was Javier ?
As someone who owns multiple restaurants and businesses in Florida, I was surprised and disappointed by the tone and approach we encountered. We’ve frequented this location during previous layovers, but unfortunately, the lack of professionalism in this interaction has made us reconsider...
